The Ocean Point Beach Resort is three miles from scenic Lighthouse Point, five miles from Boca Raton, and 12 miles from Las Olas Riverfront, Fort Lauderdale's popular dining and shopping area.
The hotel's steakhouse has a lounge with live entertainment or karaoke on selected nights. Conveniences include guest laundry facilities, room service (limited hours), and free self-parking. Thursday through Sunday, popular local groups provide entertainment in the lounge and poolside near the Tiki Bar.
Independent businesses along the beach offer parasailing adventures and rentals of personal watercraft, umbrellas, and beach chairs. A full range of spa services is offered at Ocean Sands Spa, about a block away.

US Steakhouse - Casual restaurant overlooking outdoor pool and sundeck with ocean views. Steaks, seafood, pastas. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Full bar open till 2 AM (schedule subject to change). Weekday happy hour featuring complimentary hors d'oeuvre buffet with two-drink minimum. Dance floor, karaoke, and live entertainment on selected nights.
The Turtle Tiki Bar - Located poolside and named for the turtles who come ashore throughout the year. Cocktails, soft drinks, and light fare including chicken wings, chicken fingers, hot dogs, and sandwiches. Open late morning till late evening.

“Great Weekend at the Beach”
The hotel is a great value right on the beach! Not the newest, but certainly comfortable and clean! Great Tiki Bar with food, and a fun place to hang out in the evening.
“Great Stay At Ocean Point”
The htoel was clean and in a beautiful area. I was given a ocean front room for free as I told them I was on my honeymoon and it was BEAUTIFUL!! Very clean and large. The other reveiws that said this hotel wasn't good dont seem to be accurate to me as my stay was WONDERFUL and everything was clean and nice. Only a 15 min drive to Fort Lauderdale.

When we get a chance we will plan another vacation to Florida and probably at the same hotel.

Remember you will never find a hotel on the beach for this price! Hotel staff very accommodating, only to happy to meet our needs. Tiki bar and hotel restaurant were an added plus .Entertainment almost every night. Views from room were fantastic. So much to do with short commute. Fort Lauderdale, flea markets, wonderful restaurants and casino. Our ONLY complaint was the mattresses, too soft for our liking. If you like getting the sun on your balcony ask for an even # room, south side. We will definitely go back next year.
“Loved it!”
Upon arrival the front desk empoyee was very friendly and had us checked in really quickly. The housekeeper was the best we told her we were coffee drinkers and she always put extra coffee in our basket. The sheets were changed everyday and lots of fresh towels. The restaurant in the hotel was great and employees were very friendly. This hotel made you feel like family and was willing to make your stay very enjoyable. The beach was clean and not crowded. I can't wait to go back this month. I would recommend to everyone and the price is great and is right on the ocean.

I have stayed at the Ocean Point Resort many times, this was probably my 10th time. I love that it is right on the beach, and close to many area attractions. They have a great stake house restaurant that serves great food at affordable prices. Rooms are clean and beds are quite comfortable! No complaints
“Better than expected”
After reading the reviews and searching for hotels in this price range I was pleasently surprised when arriving at the hotel. Staff was very courteous and always willing to help. Located right on the beach with chair rental and water sport rentals right out the back door. Restaurant was good with decent prices. Partially heated outdoor pool and awesome tiki bar that is always busy. This hotel is not for a young crowd looking to party but was a very relaxing trip and not too far from the hot Fort Lauderdale nightlife. Not a 5 star hotel but had everything that you would need and was very clean. I would go back.

Traveling around South Florida , we were pleasantly surprised to find Ocean View as one of stops. Our room was spacious, modern and clean as was the rest of the hotel. The view of the ocean and beach from our private balcony was gorgeous. The Hotel has it's own Tiki Bar that's on the beach is a great place to have a cocktail after a day of site seeing. The management and staff was very friendly and accommodating, We will defintely be back when we are in the area.

The hotel only has a 2.5 star rating, but the other reviews were good, so we booked. We are so glad that we did. We found a gem in this hotel! Awesome location, beach front is fantastic. We rented a cabana with beach chairs all day for $19. It was amazing to relax on the beach all day and not worry about getting sun burned. Our hotel room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel restaurant is a bit pricey. We didn't eat on site. The ONLY negative I have with this hotel is that they don't have WiFi. But if you can live without internet, it's a fabulous place to stay.
