“good location”

The hotel was clean, short walk to the beach, breakfast buffet was good, just get there early.

“Location, Location, Location”

My Wife and I stayed here the last 5 nights of spring 2007. Then we booked 2 additional rooms for three other travel companions. The beach is great, as is South Beech park. With BBQ grills and chairs for first come first serve beach picnicers. We read all the reviews, and decided to give it a try. We are very glad we did, as the location is Awesome. Really ideal, and we gladly paid the $5 daily parking fee. It is like your very own parking sub-basement, much cooler than the outside air. Breakfast was very nicely presented, tasted great and the food choices many. We will stay here again. Compliments all around for the Hotel Staff. On behalf of myself, my Wife, and our companions; Thank-you for the positive experience.

We stayed 3 nights....clean...quiet....well maintained pool...great breakfast buffet....very polite and helpful staff....definatly will stay again...oh.. great RATE too!!!!!

“Great hotel - bed comfy, good location and friendly staff.”

I do alot of traveling and have stayed in numerous hotels ranging from 1 star - 4 star. I tend to be very analytical. Some may see me as picky, but I just have expectations since I have worked in the business. I was pleasantly surprised when I booked this hotel last minute. The staff was very friendly upon arrival and throughout our stay. The room was spacious and meticulously clean. The beds were amazing as well. It was like sleeping on clouds. I have never had such a great nights sleep as I did here. The terrace rooms are nice. There is a balcony that holds tables and chairs right outside the door. The other guests were respectful so excessive noise was not an issue. The beach is only a 2-3 minute walk, very convenient. The only downside that I found is limited food selection at night and limited wireless connection. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely stay here again if I visit Ft. Lauderdale again.

“Great value!”

Very nice location just over the causeway on the north end of the strip adjacent to the Yankee Clipper. Nice pool area and bar is right next to the pool. The complimentary continental breakfast is very good also. Internet access is available in the lobby. Can't be beat for the price. Secure parking gargae is very reasonable at $5.00 per day. Short walk to the beach and park area. We'll definately stay there again.

“Best Western Ocean Side Fort Lauderdale”

We had really nice time in Best Western Ocean Side Inn in Fort Lauderdale in November 2008. The weather was a little bit cool (not that is was hotel's fault!) but we had good time by the heated pool. The room was very nice and clean and breakfast was delicious!

“Would definitely stay there again!”

I've stayed there twice and would definitely stay there again. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. The room was clean and the breakfast was very nice. Also, very close to the beach and the action.

“Overall: Good”

Almost everything was good with this hotel: the location was right next to the beach, the rooms were clean, the staff was helpful, the price was right and the breakfast was about the best you'll find at a hotel. The one complaint I would have is probably specific to the room we were staying in. The air conditioning thermostat seemed to be broken. It would click on and off a few dozen times per minute. Your options were to either turn on the air full blast or turn it off entirely. There was no way to set it to a mid-point. Still, I would stay here again without hesitation.

“Nothing to Complain About”

Decent, clean hotel with nice rooms. Friendly staff. Satisfactory for the price I paid. It's on the beach, but not directly (not ocean front), it's behind/in between two other buildings. Still only a 60 second walk to the water.

“I would use this hotel if in Ft Lauderdale again”

This hotel was very good we stayed one night went to the beach which was in walking distance. We also used the pool which was very nice with a patio and bar service if you wished. The continetal breakfast was also good.
