“Nice Hotel, Beautiful Grounds”
We spent two nights at Parrot Key, and really enjoyed it. The hotel grounds are beautiful, lots of nice tropical plants/trees surrounding the rooms and swimming pools. There are 4 different pools, so you can choose which one suits you best - we were always able to find a pool chair and umbrella. The hotel staff were all very nice, the service was great. The hotel is about a 10 minute drive to Duval street where most of the restaurants/bars are - this suited us fine, but if you want to be right in the middle of the action you might want to consider that. We drove down to Duval street each night and were easily able to find parking. Try the jetski tour offered just beside the hotel, it was great!
“Great stay at the Parrot Key!”
My wife, daughter and I had a great 5 days at the Parrot Key in the late spring. We were very pleased with the 2 bedroom, pool-side room. We enjoyed the pools and it was a very relaxing atmosphere. The convenient location to the local stores was very nice. We enjoyed the Duval Street area (a short drive away) on 4 of the days in Key West. The staff was excellent and very friendly. We will be back again!!
“Great resort.”
The staff is helpful, courteous and friendly. The rooms are immaculately cleaned. The beds are very comfortable. There are several pools separated by very pretty gardens. There is a pharmacy and a super market within 5 minutes walking distance. I really enjoyed my stay and had absolutely no compliaints.
“Wonderful Oasis in the middle of Key West town”
My husband and I absolutely loved the hotel. Our room was wonderful and since we had requested a water view, it was quite quiet since we were not overlooking a pool. The gardens were great and hid the Walgreen and traffic on the main street. It would have been nice to have a better breadfast menu. Everything was premade and microwaved. The four pools were great. We were close to everything with our rental car. Would definitely stay again.
“we will definately stay here again”
This resort is not located near Old Town, but just a short drive away. The privacy and beauty of the resort make you wish you had more time to spend there.
“We will be back!!”
This resort was beautiful, extremely clean and all of the staff was very friendly. We took three 16 y/o girls on vacation and they had the time of their lives!! They basically had their own little apartment in the top floor of the "cottage" and definately made themselves at home. The pools were so pretty and very clean. We even listen to the same music now as they played at the pool. Loved the whole experience!! We did need to rent a car as Duval Street and other attractions were not very close by-but no big deal with that.
“Gorgeous but a little out of the way”
The resort was absolutely gorgeous and clean and everything we could have wanted. The only draw back would be that you are not in walking distance to many of the typical Key West attractions. However, if you don't mind renting a car or calling a cab, you can not find a more beautiful place.
“Planning on visiting next year”
We were surprised with how nice the hotel was based on the incredible rate we got on the room. We hope to come back and visit next year.
“Key West fun”
A good get-away to see everything from the truly strange (some of the people) to historic buildings and sights. And, the weather was perfect.
“Huge Beautiful Townhome!”
When I booked this, I thought it was a two-bedroom suite. My husband and I were planning to stay with our friends who were visiting from California. To our amazement, this resort is a townhome complex with four pools, and beautiful grounds. Our "suite" was a three-story townhome that had a full kitchen with stainless hi-end appliances and granite counters. The place was decorated like a model home - each bedroom with a balcony, and a patio downstairs looking out over the water. The only negative is that there is not enough parking, but it was the 4th of July weekend. I would definitely stay there again - it was gorgeous!
