Orchid Key Inn offers 24 air-conditioned accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors and feature iPod docking stations and laptop-compatible safes. “Understated luxury”
Location, service, comfort. This hotel has it all and more!
“Oasis in the middle of chaos”
The Orchid Key Inn is located on Duval Street so is within walking distance of all the excitment of Key West. However, the rooms and pool are set back far enough from the main drag that there is no problem with noise. The rooms are modern and clean with many luxurious features. Our room was a little on the small side but with Happy Hour and complimentry breakfast so conveniently located, at poolside, and all the attactions of Key West within walking distance, we spent very little time in our room.
“Perfect location”
The hotel is more than I expected. It is closer to the Southernmost point where it is far enough from the noise but close enough to where the walk isn't bad at all. The accomodations are pefect. The bed is really comfortable and the large flat screen tv is a great touch. The shower, heavenly! And the complimentary breakfast by the pool is a great touch.
“Key West Gem”
Almost don't even want to respond to the survey for fear that this little new place of ours will be over run by the expedialites and drive prices up and quality down. What else can I say but a true class act from location with amazing restraunts and chill bars at the best end of Duval....which I am now schooled on...Wont even bother going on sloppy joe end with tourists and morons ever again...This part is the true key west...BUT the best thing is if you too want to BE a moron all that is in quick walking distance. Rooms spa like clean...definitely buck up for the jr spa suite or more...staff way cool... and the complimentary happy hr is a great touch. Brought my girl here for her birthday and definitely a panty peeler....This is Key West at its finest...location..location...clean...chill...overly accomodating...Bed and Breakfast style yet resort Ritz style at the same time..Who wants to stay in a bed and breakfast anyway that frowns upon people coming home late nite enjoying themsleves? Hellloooo its Key west. This place has best of both worlds....Travel around world hands down..amazing
“Extremely Impressed”
Everything about this place was top-knotch. It was easy to find and in an excellent location. We were in walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do in Key West. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. A beautifully restored motor inn with a relaxed ambience.

Booked this hotel for a last minute trip and relied on reviews when I chose it. Our room was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Have tapas on the upper deck of Louie's on Waddell Ave, dinner at Blue Heaven on Petronia and shop at Besame Mucho also on Petronia- all easy walking distance from the hotel. Would love to return, soon! Huck718
“Definately Would Return To Orchid Key Inn”
This location was better than I expected; it had modern furnishings including a California King bed with a good mattress and plush linens, large plasma TV, safe, refrigerator, and duo shower. The hotel is eco-friendly and is quite relaxing despite being located in the heart of the shopping district on Duval Street. The only minor issues were that the room was smaller than I expected and the spa worked, but it was not heated.
“Anytime we stay in Key West, we'll be at the Orchid Key Inn”
We arrived to the hotel earlier than check-in, but we were able to leave our car in the parking lot and they even said we could check in about 2 1/2 hours early. The room was perfect. Clean and very stylish. They offer a continental breakfast by the pool which is a great addition. This hotel is also in the ideal location.
“Loved it! Definitely will return!”
This hotel far exceeded our expectations. The person at the front desk gave us fantastic ideas of things to do and places to go. The room was gorgeous and felt brand new. Although the pool was a bit warm, we loved enjoying our complimentary happy hour drinks lounging poolside. Definitely couldn't recommend this place more! SO GOOD
“Very convenient location...”
This hotel is in the certer of the action, samll but great pool with sun all day... minutes walk to the beach, 10 minute walk to sunset bay, there is a great restaurant 2 blocks away - Abbundanza (italian)...
