“Nice and clean hotel Key Largo”
We used the hotel on our return from key West and it made a pleasant difference to our similar star rated hotel on Key West. It appears to be recently renovated, large rooms with Queen size beds. Nice pool area with 2 pools plus jacuzzi and Tiki bar. Receptionist gave us nice recommendations for restaurants in the area and sunset viewing. Although located on US 1 the rooms are to the rear and quiet.
“A good Key Largo experience”
The hotel was next to a marina, so the boating was very convenient. The pool and grounds were beautiful and well kept, complete with poolside service for food and drinks. We would have preferred a room with a view but forgot to request this.

The hotel isn't that impressive from the highway, and it is located in a rather commercial area. But beyond the front entrance, the grounds are beautifully landscaped, the facilities comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were quiet, which is a major consideration in my book. Happy Hour at the Tiki bar was always enjoyable. One plus to the location is that it is convenient to local attractions, including restaurants and dive boats (within walking distance), and places like John Pennecamp Park, which is just a short drive away..

This hotel went above and beyond to see that every one of our needs were met. We will definately be staying here on our next trip down to the Keys.

Room was clean and comfortable. Close to marina for snorkelling. Food at the hotel restaurant was excellent. Cocunuts restaurant next door was convenient and great atmosphere.
“wonderful trip”
Our stay in the Keys was fabulous. My only complaint is currently road construction is happening....roads are being widen. Lots of dump trucks, stop & go traffic. Other than that, the weather was wonderful and we loved being at the marina with all the boats.

Best bed ever! Coconuts bar is right behind the hotel as is a marina where snorkeling trips leave to go to the reef.
“Very pleased with the Holiday Inn at key Largo”
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. We were given a room overlooking the pool and were very happy with the service. We would certainly stay at the Holiday Inn at Key Largo again. Ideal location for fishing and diving as it is right next to the boats.
