The Heron House's website gives a very good representation of what to expect. It's very relaxing and quiet (which means a lot after a busy day). The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff was helpful and very friendly. Their location was excellent. We would definitely return.

“Right in the Middle of Old Town...Walked Everywhere!”

Heron House was exactly what we were looking for in Key West. It was right in the middle of old town, two blocks off of Duval, 5 blocks from Mallory Square, and about 8 blocks to south beach. We never moved our car - just walked everywhere (parking is a little tricky...I suggest arriving in daylight; tho the inn staff was very helpful with arranging our late check-in). The inn is gated, so it is very private and quaint. The pool was very comfortable for relaxing (not very big for really swimming). And our room was small, but clean, comfortable, quiet, and full of character - stained glass windows and wood beems across the high ceiling. I truly felt like I was in another world. I've been suggesting this place to everyone since I got home.

“Very Nice Bed and Breakfast in the Heart of Old Town”

From the minute we arrived the service was outstanding. The staff was laid back, however if you needed anything at all they jumped into action and took care of your request without hesitation. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The morning continental breakfast by the pool was always stocked with fruit, cereal, bagels, muffins, danish and hot coffee. As was the evening wine and cheese offering. A very nice touch. My only concern was the parking. Being in the heart of Old Town they do not have a parking lot. However, I did find a spot on Southard St. about 2 blocks from the B&B. We left the car there for our entire stay, 6 days, it was fine. I highly recommend this B&B to any couple seeking a very nice get away.

“Key West's Best”

This was a second honeymoon for me and my husband. We had a great time. The staff at the Heron were awesome. The breakfast every morning by the pool was so relaxing. Everything we needed was met. The room we had was right off the pool and was very clean. We loved all the flowers in and around the hotel. The area was quiet and very relaxing at night, but we also we to Duval Street just one block over and had a great time walking and just taking in all they had to offer. You will not be disappointed!!!

“A great place for R&R”

An easy walk to the madness of Duval Street, the Heron House is an oasis of rest and relaxation. The staff is friendly, efficient and helpful. Rooms are very attractive and comfortable, and there's an ample continental breakfast. The only improvement I'd suggest is a very minor one - a better wi-fi connection and a network printer for those of us who must check email and print boarding passes. I'll be back!

It is near all the tourist attractions and great restaurants. The pool and upper sundeck are never crowded. The Heron House is like a home away from home with everything taken care of for you.
