“Wonderful”
Excellent for couples and families! Quiet if you want. Activities and options for kids. Lots of pools and chairs to keep everyone happy and comfortable. Good selection and quality food.
“We're going back.”
This resort is absolutely lovely. The staff was outstanding.
“Hawks Cay stay”
Top shelf resort. Staff all delightful, all associated water sports also delightful. Did not care for the $29 dollar a day "resort fee", but other than that, a terrific vacation stay.
“Fantastic Resort”
Absolutely fantastic resort in the Keys. Great for families or couples - something to do for everyone. We stayed for six nights and could have stayed for another two weeks. The only thing negative would be the cost of food at the restaurants at the resort was outrageous - especially for the kids meals. The food was not great, but with several restaurants and a store on the island itself, it was very convenient...just expensive. The five pools/swimming areas were extremely clean, the workout room was awesome, the spa was very nice and the Indies Club for kids was fantastic. My husband and son played mini-golf, basketball and air hockey every day of our stay. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath town home that had its own washer and dryer and fabulous kitchen that made our stay very comfortable for a family of four. Would definitely go there again, but will plan for a longer stay!
“One of the best places in the Keys.”
One of the very few places where the hotel actually looks like the beautiful web site photos. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We did find out that our stay (late Jan-early Feb) is a "slow time" so the resort was only 1/3 full. We were told that during "high season" the place is crowded beyond belief. No better location for snorkling, snuba, scuba or sunset cruises. The resturant at the resort is exceptional but rather pricy. There are many local places 10-15 mintues away that are very, very good and worth trying (i.e., Island Fish Company, Sunset Grill). A great place to either just sit by the pool and/or lagoon the entire day or be active from dawn to dusk. Many activities for kids but most have some minor fee involved. Dolphin adventure is expensive but worth it.
“Great family resort”
Great hotel for couples and families. Only negative thing I could think of was that the food is expensive and not that great. We went to Marathon to have dinner some days during our stay and also had not to expensive tasty pizza in the Bar at the hotel.
“Great Resort”
Resort was excellent. Unfortunately, there are not may restaurants in walking distance but nevertheless it was excellent.
“Really great place to stay”
Room was great, location ideal if you plan to visit the Keys, truly relaxing vacation. would certainly go back... a really great place to stay.
“can't wait to go back”
Hawks Cay is a awesome place to stay. The rooms were clean, the staff was pleasant and nice. The grounds were gorgeous, tropical and lush. There is a spa, 3 pools, plus a saltwater lagoon. There are also plenty of restaurants to chose from and if you don't want to go out there is room service. So if your looking for a tropical paradise Hawks Cay is the place to stay. You wont be disappointed. I will be going back.
“Good value for money hotel”
Good hotel for kids, plenty to do. Very relaxing atmosphere. Good location on the Keys
