“Perfect hotel for large families”

I picked The Hampton Inn @ Islamorada based on customers reviews and I'm glad I did. This is not a luxury hotel or a resort but the almost 5 ratings are based on the fact that you get a great affordable room for less. Our two bedroom villa/suite was great: two rooms with Queen beds + the sofa bed @ the main area. The kitchen had everything you need. The breakfast is free! Eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, waffles, fresh fruit, yoguts, cerealn crepes, oatmeal, orange juice and cofee. They even have small brakfast bags to go with fruit, cereal/granola bars and a bottle of water in case you want to take it out. The staff was extra friendly, when we called to ask for an extra blanket for the sofa it arrived almost inmediatly. The view is nice but as most of the "beach hotels" @ the Keys there's no actual beach, just a sand strip with beach chais and the rocky botton of the sea in front of it. No kiddie pool. The regular pool had steps and the shallow side is 3 and a half feet, There's a small playground next to the beach. The Outback restaurant is in the premises and there's a Tiki Bar from Outback as well. Vry convenient! They have a gift shop, a small convenience store and the landscaping is beatiful. Free internet great place to relax with the family.

“Very Pleasant Surprise”

thoroughly impressed with the hotel and its staff. the staff took no short-cuts when it came to being hospitable and responsive. even before we could check in, they were making every effort to assist. and this was after what appeared to be a very busy holiday weekend and all its demands. this hotel will definitely see our group again.

“Just what we expected”

On planning our trip we were told by friends to stay here and we would be very satisfied, and we were. We had a nice view from our room and service was excellent. The location couldnt be better. We also enjoyed the tiki bar next to the pool at the Outback. We are planning to go back next year. Dennis and Sue, N.J.

“Would definitively stay there again next time we go to the Florida Keys”

My family stayed at this hotel for Spring Break (2 adults, 2 kids ages 9 and 11). The room was great, much larger than we expected, with a separate bedroom and two full bathrooms with bathtubs. We had a great view of the ocean from our 4th floor room. The breakfast was good (standard Hampton Inn fare). Travelling with a family, this is a great feature, both in terms of value and convenience. The hotel has a beach area, swimming pool, and outdoor hot tub. They are all nice, although we did not use them very much since we spent most of our time enjoying all the activities available at the state parks nearby. Islamorada is a bit far from Key West, but it is a very good base for exploring the rest of the Keys.

“Pleasant surprise”

Nice large rooms - recently renovated and in very good shape. Has an Outback restaurant and Tiki bar on-site that was a real plus (could eat outside with ocean views.

I expected this to be a very nice and clean hotel and was not disappointed. Very nice! Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Everything worked. The breakfast was very tasty overlooking the beach and pool area.

“Tropical Vacation in Islamorada”

We brought our family, grandchildren ages 10 and 17, children ages 34 and 41, and grandparents ages 77 and 78. We all had such a good time at the Hampton in Islamorada. The staff were so friendly and accomodating. There were so many amenities, balconies with views in all the rooms, heated pool, hot tub, beach, panoramic coastal view, shuffle-board, swing set, lounge chairs, hammocks, beach towels, 24-7 coffee, tea, hot chocolate and all you can eat full breakfast. We were living in luxury.

“Just OK”

The hotel itself was average for the Florida Keys, but don't expect to use the boat ramp or dock (which should be a major attraction to boaters in the Keys). The ramp is difficult to dangerous to use and there is a very high (not included in room rate) docking charge.
