“Thumbs up”
Great hotel! Very friendly and helpful staff. Superb fish restaurant right across the road. Definitely recommend this hotel.
“second visit”
Stayed at this hotel last year and enjoyed it very much,so decided to use it as a base a again, very comfortable rooms staff friendly, small beach and with fish and manatee swimming off the quay it was great. Plenty of eating places near by.and shopping centre. would certainly go back again.
“Nice place to stay in the keys!”
great stay here for a few days. I liked the large rooms, the fact it has a small private beach and a nice pool area. The rooms were clean and fresh. A bonus was the manatees close to the beach which would come up and feed from your hands. They also change your bed linen daily which is nice. There are a couple of reasonable restaurants within walking distance, and a few more a short drive. Helpful staff on reception who were more than willing to print out my on line check in forms for me. My only gripe? The rooms that are indicated as a garden view, actually look over the car park, which is misleading.
“Very good value for money!”
Hampton Inn Key Largo gave astonishing good value for money; a large clean room with breakfast, parking, wi-fi, coffee, sunbeds and towels for the pool all included in the price. The staff was very friendly and service minded; more than happy to help.
“Better than expected”
The hotel was a pleasant surprise. The room was quite spacious and the bed comfortable. The fridge and microwave came in very handy. We arrived late afternoon and were happy to find coffee and freeshly baked chocolate chip cookies in the lobby as we hadn't eaten since breakfast. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and accommodating, and always made us feel like welcome guests. Nice pool and little beach area. The breakfast, was a nice convenience, but was not all that great. My only real complaint was that the treadmills in the gym would spontaneously lose power which made working out an aggravation. Still, I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to others. Oh, and I also noticed a number of guests were traveling with their dogs so this is definitely a pet friendly hotel.
“High Quality and Restful Experience”
The location in Key Largo provides ready access to the Everglades and to the rest of the Keys. Key Largo is more restful than Key West and more interesting than Islamorada and Marathon. We were treated well by the staff. The rooms were very clean. The manatees and iguanas added a bit of exotic flavor. The pool was heated and we used it a lot. We will stay there again
“Great Stay”
The hotel was clean and the staff was pleasant. The hotel lived up to the previous reviews and it was centrally located.
“Good Stay”
Very good place to stay for 3 days to enable us to explore the reef & local parks. Well situated & very pleased when on our first day a manatee mother with calf visited the beach
“Wonderful place!”
This was a wonderful place to stay. The decor of our room was very stunning. Quiet room, very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast. Nice area to sun or just to relax, along with an outdoor bar! We would definitely stay here again.
“Good hotel, good value, good location”
We stayed for a little under a week on holiday. It is a great location for exploring the lower keys, the Everglades and just a few hundred metres from John Pennekamp. Our room was clean, reasonably spacious and well-equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good. Real coffee on tap at reception was great too. The hotel is positioned "end on" to the sea. Rooms on one side have a view of a fairly narrow strip of garden (pleasantly landscaped) or pool but on the other side a very narrow strip of garden and the car park. However, I doubt that anyone spends hours in their hotel admiring the view from the window! The pool is nice but quite small. Towels are provided, which is nice, but pool-side chairs are all quickly occupied. Their is a small beach and dock at the sea. Manatee Bay is well-named. Two manatees came right to the shore while we were there, and two iguanas contemplated a swim in the pool!
