Rooms
Set back about 50 meters (55 yards) from the street at the end of a wide paving-stone driveway, the hotel offers 83 guestrooms in a four-story, white-and-gray building constructed in 1900 and remodeled in 2003. Guestroom doors are designed like gilt-framed paintings, with each door adorned by a copy of a past Italian notable's portrait, and a brass plaque identifying the subject and the painter.
Ultra-contemporary room decor contains grid-patterned walls and ceilings of black or fuchsia leather or fuchsia cloth, with tiny fiber-optic lights set into grids' intersections, creating a starlit-night effect. Lighting also includes 6-foot white-acrylic column lamps, floor-level nightlights, and spotlights above high desks, with swivel stools located at beds' feet. Bedside consoles control all lights.
Platform beds are slightly elevated on wood platforms. Drawings of clothes on hangers decorate closets. Mosaic-tile bathrooms by Italian tile-maker Bisazza contain shower/tub combinations or walk-in showers with rainshower heads and no tubs. All-white bedding includes linen bed covers. In addition to standard pillows, a pillow menu offers four choices.
High-tech features include 32-inch plasma televisions with complimentary movies and sports, and Internet access via wireless keyboards (surcharge). Desks include electrical outlets and high-speed Internet connections (surcharge) for laptop computers. Slippers provide lounging comfort.

“An experience”
The hotel staff was great, the decor' was phenominal and the facilites above what anything you would get at an overpriced hotel. The area in which the hotel is situated is nice as much of Florence is nice. However, it is about 10-15 minutes walking to sites like the ponte, Domus, and shopping. It is close to the pitti palace.
“Only Hotel to Stay in Florence”
This hotel was situated in one of the nicest parts of Florence. It was the equivalent of staying in Soho in NYC. The hotel rooms are amazing, they include huge flatscreen TVs, galloping glass showers & fiberglass lighting system.
“Unforgettable”
We stayed here for 2 nights and loved the the place. As other reviews have stated, it's very different, and we won't forget it like we do most hotel rooms. The room we had wasn't large but it was extremely comfortable.
“Definitely a diffferent & a better one than the usual hotels”
Very good hotel to stay in Florence. We were extremely satisfied with the location & service. Good breakfast & a different hotel than the usual ones.
“Fab hotel”
I've never stayed anywhere like this before. The decor was very art nouveau and we loved it although it might not be to everyone's taste. The staff were all great and the buffet breakfast was a great start to the day. The only downside was the party of American schoolchilden who were staying there at the time and spent most of their time hanging around in the reception and courtyard spoiling the decadent ambiance. A great way to complete an evening is to sit outside in either the courtyard or clover garden and enjoy a bottle of wine, the barman is fantastic and will bring you all sorts of goodies to enjoy with it.
“Eblouissant comme les lumières autour de votre lit”
Pour amoureux, style contemporain et design, agréable de fraîcheur et de sérénité après l'agitation de Florence. Louer des vélos (très pratique) pour explorer la ville.
“Funky and different”
We loved staying in the Hotel Vittoria! We were amazed at the interior design and decoration - mosaic "wave" wrapping around the reception area, funky lounges in the bar area, paintings of famous artists on the door to the rooms, and a starlit roof and wall in the bedroom! This place was definitely original! It had a great breakfast buffet too. We felt the location was great - a 15 min walk to the Duomo and city centre. The staff were very helpful and suggested a wonderful restaurant in which to celebrate my sister's 30th birthday.
“Very helpful staff!!”
It is definitely a hotel of no other! very modern and interesting. The staff I found was very willing to help. We were in need of purchasing train tickets, and the person in the front desk booked it online for us. Good breakfast. A good walk to reach the main sites, but a short bus ride away. I though the money we paid was well worth the stay!!
“UNA Hotel Vittoria”
excellente situation à 15mn à pied du Centre historique de Florence. Possibilité de parking souterrain. Très bel hotel surprenant par sa déco très moderne, au top de la technologie et au calme. Petit déjeuner : buffet avec un très grand choix dans une salle qui met de bonne humeur dès le matin ou dehors en terrasse. Cet hotel nous a conquis. Adresse à recommander
“Good hotel in nice area”
I really liked this hotel. It wasnt the closest to the city centre but that made it more appealing as it was quieter and the restaurants localy were not as busy and cheaper. The decor was great. And ,although the led wall lights didnt work and the shower was a bit tempermental, it was still a lovely room. Huge bathroom with double shower which had a glass wall. Very funky but not for your shy types ! There were some very nice local shops and restaurants. Hotel staff were very helpful, food good with a handy supermarket over the road. Would definately stay here again.
