"Central but not too much. Clean and Comfortable. Helpful."
The hotel is really close to the pjazza del duomo but at the same time it's not on the main street where you have a million people walking past your bedroom all the time so at night it's quiet. It is also quite accessible if you are driving around and they have an arrangement with a garage off the centre who will park your car at night and bring it back whenever you need it. Considering the centrality of the location and the quality of the hotel the price was quite reasonable. It's a boutique hotel so do not expect massive lobbies and bars, but afterall it's in firenze... so you can walk just about anywhere in minutes for great wine, coffee and food. If you're going to florence, this hotel is worth staying at.

"A little piece of heaven in the Tuscan mountains"
Beautiful, isolated rurale setting in the Tuscan hills. Had a 3 night stay and enjoyed every evening here post travelling the nearby highlights. Food was excellent (although portions were large!) and enjoyed sampling the local wine.
Staff were very helpful and gave great advice for local trips. There isn't much locally, so if you need extras, it's a 5 minute car ride into Borgo San Lorenzo. If we had more time, we would have taken the opportunity to have enjoy the hotel facilities. We were fortunate to get a free room upgrade, although both rooms were of an excellent standard.

The hotel is magnificent. Beautiful grounds, super room. It felt like we were guests in a palace. Best of all the service was supreme. Everyone we encountered could not have been more eager to be of help--the entire staff made us feel very special.

We had a fantastic stay at Ponte Vecchio Suites. The suite was lovely, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen well-enough equipped to cook a few easy dinners when we didn't want to go out.
The location was perfect, with only a short walk to the Uffizi, and so many excellent restaurants around that were ideal for families. Even though the hotel was close to everything, our room was very quiet.
And the staff were all lovely! So helpful and welcoming, assisting us with tickets to galleries and helping us with our connection back to Pisa. We can't wait to go back.

Our stay here was very special. The owners treat you like family, always smiling and accommodating. The hotel goes way back in history, and has been nicely renovated. Our room had a gorgeous view out to a hillside with a Tuscan villa and olive grove. And our dinner there was really special, with a phenomenal view of Florence and an orange sunset, several courses.

Our stay here was short but sweet so we didn't manage to experience everything the hotel had to offer, for example the spa treatments. It was a comfortable room with lovely little extras. We thought it was perhaps a little overpriced, and everything extra like breakfast was a bit too expensive. It also didn't include the hotel tax which we had to pay at the end of our stay. Overall a nice, clean and smart hotel but a little overpriced.
