“GREAT PLACE - INCREDIBLE LOCATION”

If you're going to Florence to see the sites, this place is for you. EVERYTHING is within walking distance. Five minutes walk to the Duomo or five minutes in the other direction to the Palazzo Vecchio/Uffizi. I think I walked about ten minutes to see Michaelangelo's David. Let's get this out of the way. The room is a little small but if that is a concern to you then you're not properly appreciating the city. I kept the window open at night. The streets below can be a little noisy on the weekends but not to the point that I couldn't sleep through it. The bed is amazingly comfortable. If I could bring it home in my luggage, I would have stolen it. The room was always clean. There was a shower in my room and a private toilet (to which I had the sole key) down the hall. I think the rooms with higher occupancy must have all had full bathrooms. It can also be a little hard to find the place at night. Mr. Sani will give you a map upon checkin and he'll circle your location. Keep this with you! Florence was one of the most magical places I have ever seen. I don't think it could have been this fantastic if I had stayed anywhere else.

“Very central to the best of Florence”

The Sani Guest House is a small hotel (5 rooms?) midway between two of the main attractions of Florence, the Duomo (cathedral) and the Ufizzi Gallery. It is within easy walking distance of other attractions, shopping, restaurants, etc. The manager is helpful and friendly, and e room was clean and well maintained. Some things to be aware of... The hotel is on the third floor - there is a small elevator. It is on a tiny piazza that doesn't actually appear on the Tourist Information maps. Instead, aim for the Casa Dante Museum.... It's a few yards away. And make sure to ask the manager for the air conditioner remote control! If you leave the windows open, you will hear a lot of street noise, and mosquitoes will come in during the night. None of these were major concerns. Though not fancy, the Sani Guest House was a reasonably priced, comfortable and friendly place where we were happy to stay.

“Good location, small B&B”

Overall good, but wireless internet didn't work. Also, hard location to find. Some hallway and outside noise.
