This was my first time staying at this hotel in Florence. I usually stay somewhere else with my family dog that I have been driving to and from Florida the last few years. The lady at the front desk was very nice. But the room smelled terrible. Again. I know pet friendly. But this was worse than any other dog friendly hotel I’ve stayed at. On top of it. My dog barked several times thru the night. Bc 5 doors down people were having a hotel room party till 4 am when I got up to do my second day of driving. Amazing how this was not stopped at all thru the night.

No parking for a coach Extremely bad experience at the reception If you pass by Expedia, for sure that you will have the wrong room you paid for and the girl at the reception is happy to tell you that roughly If you pay for 2 rooms , they won't give you 2 rooms close and not even at the same level It's not the standard of Marriott at all

Excellent customer service from the entire staff that we interacted with. The Breakfast staff was just wonderful, very friendly and most helpful. The Breakfast was just excellent. We plan to visit this hotel whenever we are in the Florence area. Excellent!

The ladies cooking and preparing breakfast were so accomidating. Our house flooded and i needed somewhere to stay. Unfortunately the first couple days were spent at home 2 suites. Wish i would have come to residence inn from the star⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very good Residence Inn
This is a very good Residence Inn. Importantly for me, it’s pet friendly. Despite having pets in the building, the rooms we have been in (5 stays), hallways and common area have no pet smell to me. My dog, however, knows who’s been there. The staff are friendly, food quality of the breakfast is reasonable. Beds are comfortable and rooms are in good condition.

Evening check in staff hated their job apparently… not friendly at all. Room was run down and dated and not very clean. I am not sure how this hotel had a high rating on hotels.com. Breakfast staff was very nice.

Stay away!
Stay away. This hotel stay was awful. The only room left was the accessible room with a walk in shower. The shower didn't drain properly at all so there was water all over the floor and leaking into the bedroom. We had to put towels all over the floor to use the bathroom because it was full of water. Everything was broken, the dishes were dirty. Overall awful experience. I waited at the desk for 15 minutes at checkout to explain how awful our stay was but no one came so I left. I called my third party hotel reservation line and they reached out to the hotel on our behalf and they refused to offer any sort of compensation or reimbursement. The room was not cheap either, $278/night!! What a rip off.

Arrived at 11:15 pm for a one night stay. At 3:10 am someone tried to enter our Room!!! The front desk must have gave them our key and room also! The front desk person was so obviously asleep when we arrived because he asked us our room number when we were trying to check in!!!! He must have also been sleeping when he gave our key and room to another guest at 3:00 am!!!!

We enjoyed our stay here and really appreciated the breakfast. Staff was friendly. There were some maintenance issues in our unit, including a torn shower curtain and a broken toilet seat. Bed was comfortable. We would stay here again.
