“my recent stay”
It was supposed to be anon smoking room but we had a smoking odor. I am allergic so that was just a little disapointing. Other than that a great experience.
“Nice Motel”
Very nice experience as we had our dogs with us. The Front Desk staff had difficulty understanding some things, were having a problem with someone before us, and we had a handicapped gentlement with us and needed to be checked in. I finally just interrupted so we could check in (it was late).
“Florence best hotel that I have stayed”
My stay was great, I was a little disappointed with the gym, because the machines did not have manual and some seem to be out dated. I would stay there again on my next trip to South Carolina.
“Pet Friendly Ramada Inn, Florence SC”
Very clean, pet friendly hotel. Front desk called once we were in our room to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, which was a nice touch. I highly recommend this hotel, pets or no pets!
“Florence Motel”
Enjoyed are stay, motel was pet frendly, had a nice big yard to walk pets. Pet rooms were on frist floor,made walking pets very easy.Motel easy to find , right off interstate 81.
“This hotel does charge a $15 pet fee.”
The only problem we had with this Ramada was with the staff. The room was fine and clean, but their staff had an attitude. When we reserved this room on Expedia it said, "pet friendly hotel" and I even called Expedia to check and see if there was a fee for having your pet with you (we have a small dog). Expedia called the hotel and they said that pets stay for free. When I checked in there was no sign or anything on the counter about pet fees. The next morning when I went to check out, magically a sign appeared saying there is a $15 pet fee. When the original person went to check me out of our room, he had to call over his manager. The lady manager (I didn't get her name) said, "Okay, well I see a pet, but I don't see that you've paid yet." I told her that I wasn't aware of the pet fee, and that when I checked in there was no sign on the counter or anything. She said, "Well there is always a pet fee." I thought that was interesting and said that Expedia called the hotel to check and I was told there was no cost. She said, "Oh well they must have called the wrong hotel. There has always been a pet fee. That is the problem with Expedia, they put people with pets in non-pet rooms and people without pets in pet rooms. Then the customer gets mad at me because they have to pay the $15 fee. Well that's just one more thing I have to do today. I have to call Expedia and argue with them over our fee. The difference is that's one argument I know I can win." I paid the fee and left.
“Would go back”
It was reasonable quality for price paid . Rooms were clean & well looked after
“Very nice and would return to this hotel”
Although the hotel was just bought by Ramada and the changes of signs and amenities were taking place day of our visit we felt no disruption in our stay there.
“Be prepared for attitude”
This place was not only affordable but seemed to be well maintained. I really like my room it was quite comfortable. Some of the staff have attitude problems. It's a little tacky to have signs up to pay for continental breakfast if you want to enjoy it in your room. Housekeeping a little pushy to get you to check out early. If you need the shuttle when arriving at airport call as soon as plane lands it takes them awhile to come get you. Very convenient location, everything was in walking distance. They advertise dining on property however that was closed so no room service. But now that I know what to expect I would stay again.
“Reliable and Comfortable”
Bathroom rather small. Otherwise, can't complain about anything.
