“Extemely convenient for vising all the 'arts'”
When we got to the hotel they upgraded us without asking to a very good room, bathroom was also very good, this hotel is very well situated for visiting all the wonderful sights. Breakfast is quite basic but what you expect no different from any other hotel, coffee very good at breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would go back again, although a little noisy at night from outside revellers but would get that whatever hotel you stayed in there as it is in the city.
“Pitti Palace al Ponte Vecchio October 2011”
We were very pleased with this hotel. We were able to walk to and from the station and to all major tourist attractions. It was literally 2 minutes from the Ponte Vecchio whhere all the jewellery shops are built. Check in/out were quick and staff were courteous.Although a little garish our room was large and well lit. Our only grouch was there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room but this could be obtained from the hotel foyer from a machine free of charge. As a back sufferer my bed was rather on the firm side , but my husband had no problems. Breakfast was more than adequate. The breakfast room was a little small but had the weather been better the open air terrace which ajoined it could also be used. Staff were very efficient..Would recommend this hotel.
A recommander.
“Would definitely go back”
Would definitely go back
“Excellent !!”
Fabulous location, within walking distance of all the sights (and if you don't feel like walking the 'D' bus stops right outside). Hotel staff very knowledgable and helpful, especially for a lone female traveller. I stayed for a week, and they found me some wonderful restaurants. Room was small, but perfectly okay. The rooftop breakfast room/bar was lovely. Excellent value for money, would definitely recommend this hotel.
“Great location for a visit to Florence”
The staff were very helpful and friendly, and most accommodating to my feeble attempts to speak Italian. The room was excellent and extremely clean. The view from the bar/breakfaast area is wonderful. The location could not be better, with a stroll across the Ponte Vecchio as the start to each day's exploration of the city. The street outside could be noisy at night - nocturnal street cleaners and a few revellers, but very little traffic - but you simply shut the window and turn up the air conditioning.
“Great location...great service!!!”
My husband and I were both extremely pleased with this hotel. Florence has an abundant amount of hotels to choose from, but the location of this one is hard to beat! We started each morning with a walk across the ponte vecchio...which was about ten steps from our hotel door. Several great restaurants in the area...stop by celestino...delicious! The staff was VERY helpful and answered all of my questions. Only caution...if you are a non-smoker, make sure to request that! The smokers' rooms are quite stinky! Over all...great hotel for the money/3 star category!!!
“will certainly go back”
The hotel was so conveniently situated for everything a tourist would want to see. As a lone traveller it is important to me to feel safe at night and here I could go into the centre and not worry about having to return before 9pm!! I could enjoy the entertainment in the piazza have a meal and a drink and return at whatever time I felt like it. Florence is mesmerising you don't know where to start I shall certainly visit again and see the things I missed. Also a plus the weather was amazing
