The hotel is in an excellent location . The main problem are the stairs . My room was on the 4th floor and was really very uncomfortable. The bathroom very small. The staff was very polite.

They took the remote control for the air conditioner, no hot water the last day. Not much cleaning, no elevator, no free breakfast. Tiny room, and tiny bathroom

Dear client,We took the remot control because the temperature is less then 20 Celsius degrees, but if you were in need of it was sufficient to ask. We gave you a room at 1st floor so the lack of elevator should not be a problem. Cleaning is done daily and no customers have complained. The best part about the place was the staff! They were excellent and super helpful. Every day somebody from the desk would give us locals recommendations to eat, and to visit!

There are not towel hooks after use. It's absolutely necessary for each persons, because new ones are not provided every day.

No hot water :@ no WiFi
Stayed 3 nights. No hot water the whole time, only warm-cold and the pressure was terrible. The WiFi didn’t reach to our floor. Complained every night and got silly and lazy responses. The room was clean and the location was good but wish we spent a few more dollars and got something more reliable. I’ve been traveling for 6 months straight and this was truley the worst hotel I’ve stayed in by far and I don’t ask for a lot.

Hotel is in great location, walking distance to most attractions. Although receptionist might provide help, but be prepared to carry your luggage up to 5 floors as there's no elevator. Bathroom radiator not functioning.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Disappointed with size of room, very cramped and ensuite more like a cupboard covered in mould. Came home covered in bites from the hotel room

sink and bathroom are clogging.
Consideration to senior citizens should have been given in reserving rooms. We knew beforehand that there is no lift but we should have NOT been reserved to the top floor (5th Floor) room. Unfortunately, we have to rest every floor before we can proceed upstairs.

Great value
Small but comfortable room, with a tiny but private bathroom. The walls are a bit thin. It would have been nice to have had a hot water heater available for coffee/tea beyond the breakfast hours, but the continental breakfast was quite good (pastries & breads, fruit cocktail, yogurts, cereal, espresso machine).

Loved it
I cant remember his name but the night clerk who sorted me out and got me in my room was amazing. Kind, friendly and funny and helped me carry my luggage up 5 flights of stairs. **there is no lift** The movie posters cheer up the hallways and the breakfast held me until lunch. I highly recommend this hotel as a budget stay and i highly recommend Florence.

Budget friendly place in heart of Florence
Great little hotel in city center. Close to all major buildings and monuments in Florence. Very friendly and helpfull employees. Very clean room and bathroom. Quite surprised for 2 star hotel. Budget friendly. I loved it.

Hotel is in close vicinityto everything an advantage.... but NO LIFT.... kills! You need to climb a mountain in a hotel, good breakfast nevertheless. The flush of bathroom works only in one angle...very agitating ! Its a very old hotel that's refurbished.

Great location in Florence.
Rates were good and the location is very convenient, in the center of Florence. This is a very old building, obviously, so go with the flow. We did and had a great stay. If you do have time in Florence be sure to take the city bus near the Ponte Vecchio up to Piazza Michaelangelo, and then take your time walking back down through the gardens.

Close to the duomo, within walking distance to the train station. Small room, was cleaned everyday (but dislike the smell of the cleaning solution they use). NO LIFT, and we we're given a room up the 4th floor( which means 5 floors up) but Elton, the front desk staff helped us with our luggage.

Nice clean hotal close to city centre.
Good location and nice, helpful staff. Clean and well maintained and internet worked well, but room and especially shower/toilet very small and cramped. Breakfast not served until 0800 which was inconveniently late. Serving breakfast at 0700 would be a major plus as would providing in-room security safe.

Lots of stairs (no lift). Room was very, very damp. Mould in bathroom walls. Tiny (narrow) bathroom. Breakfast was standard - not great, but OK. Exy for what it is, but all of Florence is. Great location - close to train station and very close to sights (e.g. Duomo, cathedral, markets etc). Friendly front desk staff.

A nice hotel in the center of Florence
Excellent location - right in the center of the city, next to Florence Cathedral, Church Santa Maria Nouvelle and other famous sites. It is also very close the train station. The hotel itself is basic yet clean and comfortable, and staffs are really friendly and very helpful. Besides, there are also some really nice restaurants nearby.

Our main problem with this hotel and the only reason we have given lower rating was the bathroom/shower room. Very small and no hand rail on wet tiled floors is a health and safety nightmare.

Great hotel for the price.
The hotel was perfectly adequate. It was close to the city center and close the the main train station. It was on a main street, so it was easy to find, but the street noise was not audible in the room. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was good.

The location of the hotel could not be better. Really convenient to reach station, major sites, restaurants. The staff was very friendly even when we reached very late in the night. The rooms are ok, nothing to rave abt. Definitely recommend.

The hotel was the worse hotel I have ever stayed. Awful. No elevators. you have to carry your luggage to the 3rd or 4th floor. No hot water in the bathroom finally they moved us to a new room. Water hardly lukewarm. Sink in the hallway, and toilet and a shower head in the bathroom. Toilet does not flush. No shower enclosures. Looks like an outdoor shower.When taking a shower the whole bath floor gets flooded with water and are afraid of falling to use the toilet.No shampoo or soaps provided. No towel hangers.Tiny safe.No English Channels on TV. Had only 5 channels and 2 were repeats. only Italian. They have advertised that they have Satellite. When questioned they said they don't have it any more because they had problems with the satellite company.It was a dump. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

THIS HOTEL NEEDS MAJOR RENOVATIONS. FOR THE RATE WE PAY ITS NOT WORTH EVEN 50 EUROS A NIGHT NO ELEVATORS TOILET IS WORST THAN A BUS, TRAIN OR FLIGHT TOILET IF YOUR BIG .....PLEASE DON'T GO THERE. THE STAFF IS VERY NICE HELPED US WITH DIRECTIONS TO VARIOUS PLACES. THE BEST LOCATION BUT TO JUST TO LIE DOWN IT'S OK.
