“Excellent Rome Trip”
Great hotel experience. Hotel with history, charm and very nice helpful staff. This hotel for us couldn't have been located in a better spot. It is close to everything including train station.

Hôtel agréable, très proche des sites touristiques de la vieille ville. Très bon accueil par du personnel dévoué et sympathique. Seul petit bémol : mauvaise isolation phonique par rapport à l'extérieur, la Place Santa Maria Novella sur laquelle donnait notre chambre étant assez bruyante la nuit, jusqu'à des heures tardives...
“Great hotel and value”
We had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Roma. The room was comfortable and the staff was very helpful and it was nice being within walking distance from the train station. The only negative was that it was a little loud late at night when the bars and/or pub nearby let out.
“Great Location”
The hotel and rooms have been updated, but it still maintains a traditional elegance. The room was larger than others we encountered elsewhere in Italy. The location is close to the train station, and we could walk to all the sites in the city. I would definitely recommend it to others.

I didn't like the first room they gave us on the top floor because all of the windows were at ceiling level. I went to the reception desk and they changed our room right away. My children also had a room on the first floor with a great view of Plaza Santa Maria Novella. The room and bathroom were kept very clean by the housekeeping staff. The included breakfast was adequate. They served mostly breads and pastries but there was also canned fruit and hard boiled eggs and lunch meats. The staff on the reception desk were very helpful. The location is great. It's only about 2 blocks from the train station and a few blocks from the Duomo. There are many restaurants and shops in the area also. The room rate is very reasonable. I will definately stay here again when I travel to Florence.
