“Should be rated a 4 star hotel”
Excellent location, very modern and stylish, yet cozy and elegant. Our Junior suite was a treat, with a very spacious bathroom. From the moment we arrived until our departure, the Concierge and Front Desk staff went out of their way to assist us in all our needs.
“"Time" for a break”
This is a beautiful hotel, spacious, elegant and comfortable. Was on a 24 day trip ending at L'Orologio and saved the best for last. Very well located a block from the train station and were able to walk to all the sites. Look forward to staying again.
“Would stay at Hotel L'Orologio again and again!”
We reserved a Jr suite with city view and couldn't have been happier with our suite. It was very spacious, had a true double bed (felt more like a queen size) with extremely comfortable bedding, large bathroom with marble tub and a private patio too! Truly top notch. This is not a 3 star hotel, it's much much more.
“A great boutique hotel in Florence”
We were happy with everything about the Hotel l'Orologio. Rooms seem brand new with comfortable beds and elegant bathrooms. Hotel staff was always friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfasts offering bacon, eggs, cold cuts, cheese, many kinds of juice, rolls, etc. served in a beautiful dining room with a panoramic view of the Piazza Santa Maria Novella. Walking distance to almost everything we wanted to see! Also walking distance to train and bus stations for day trips in Tuscany.

“Loved Everything About this Hotel”
This Hotel was absolutely wonderful. The location was perfect for visiting all of the Florence sites. The room was beautiful with dark mahoganey furniture and marble bathrooms. The terrace in the Junior suite had a view of the Duomo. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms were quiet. The staff was always very helpful and could speak perfect English. Don't miss apertivo at the Hotel bar!!
“So nice!”
After traveling through Europe for a few weeks and stayin in European hotels (small), this was a relief to come "home" to. The rooms were much larger than usual, very nice, clean, and comfy. The continental breakfast was the best I've eaten in Europe and the hotel location was perfect. No more than a 5 min walk to most of the touristy sites and train station.
“Excellent hotel”
We were really happy at this hotel. It was hard finding a place to stay over the Easter Break, but our two nights here were just fab. Room was extremely clean and stunning. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was A+. Don't hesitate staying here.
“as Tina Turner would say "simply the best"”
My wife and I travel to Europe every year. We always include Florence in our itinerary. This has been the best experience by far. The first thing that strikes you is the beautiful aroma from the burning candles. The breakfast was first class with plenty of everything.The staff were of the highest standard.Attention to detail was impeccable.The location was absolutely perfect for reaching all the points of interest in the old town.We are still in the south of France but we are already planning next years trip.Congratulations to the management and staff and keep up the good work.Bellisima.
“Great hotel in a great location!”
My husband, two teenage daughters, and I loved this hotel in Florence. The location was perfectly situated on a quiet beautiful square, close to the train station and the major sites of the city. The hotel lobby, sitting rooms, halls, and bar are decorated in a comfortable yet modern style. Breakfast was available in a georgous room with dark wood floors and floor to ceiling windows, overlooking Florence. the staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms were surprisingly spacious with a lot of storage. We hope to return to Florence. If we do, we will be sure to stay at Hotel L'OrologIo.
