“Had a great time!”
We were very happy with our stay. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was nice. rooms were clean. Location, Location, Location!
“Would stay there again”
Wonderful hotel, perfect location l block from the Duomo. Close to everything. Clean. Nice large buffet breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.
“Great proximity to sites!”
Overall the hotel was fine but I missed soaking in a bath. The site stated it had bath/shower combination but don't expect to be able to take a bath as the water came out very slowly and took forever to fill a few inches. I have a bad back and would have liked to have soaked. However, the shower worked fine -- no problem. Also, the toilet seat had been set crookedly so I sat partially on the inside of the seat -- this was uncomfortable at times. But, again, overall, it was a great hotel -- I really liked it!
“Great hotel. Can't beat the location!”
Just stayed 4 nights and we had a wonderful time. The hotel was clean and well maintained. It has 24 hour reception and the most helpful staff. They booked our tours and made museum reservations, got ice for my husband (who sprained his ankle), gave us plasters (when my husband cut his finger!)Just very very helpful and nice. We were travelling with our 3 month old baby so spent a lot of time in the room. It was very comfortable and clean. Good working air conditioner and a fridge. Lovely. And the breakfast was fantastic. Loads of selection and beautifully displayed. I looked forward to it every morning! Yes, I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence. The location was perfect with everything you need right there. Great resturants and sights very near by.
“très satisfaits de ce séjour”
Acceuil très aimable .Situation de cet hôtel idéale ( plein centre de la ville historique ) Chambre donnant sur une petite ruelle, calme et très confortable . Petit déjeuner très correct et servi dans une petite salle au sous-sol agréable . Il s'agissait là de notre 3e séjour dans cet hôtel et nous le recommandons vivement
“Very accommodating staff”
The hotel is just up the street from the Duomo. Also it was near the Central Market and many of the locations we wanted to see. Three of us shared a room for 10 nights. It faced on the street and was busy but we got used to it. It was great value for the money and the staff were most accommodating in helping us to find what we were looking for. Beds were changed every day and lots of fresh towels. The breakfast was a buffet with a huge assortment of foods available. Well worth the price of the room for three breakfasts! Seasoned travellers will recognize the value. We were all satisfied with the room. If you want luxury then of course you have to book a much more expensive hotel
“Great location but definitely not a 4 star hotel”
The location is great, very close to the Duomo. The building is not well maintained, rooms are clean, their staff is just fine for a regular hotel in Italy, again, this is not a 4 star hotel, I would say 2 to 3 in the US. Breakfast was average. And internet is not complimentary, it costs 6 Euros per hour. Tip: be friendly with the hotel staff, not a picky/demanding customer if you want to get the best from them, it's just a different culture and you want to enjoy your vacation.
“fine”
its one of the best
“Très bon accueil, mais chambre et petit déj. moyens.”
Week-end du 11 novembre (4 jours) : Très bon accueil, et on parle bien français ! L'hôtel donne sur la rue Martelli à grande circulation, mais on a pu obtenir une chambre très calme côté impasse. Chambre spacieuse, mais pas de chauffage (juste possibilité pour une ventilation froide)et matelas très dur. Petit déjeuner moyen, mais bon, on est en Italie !
“Hotel Fenice Palace - Florence”
The hotel has an excellent location (about 80 meters to the Duomo). The service is in general very good and the rooms are clean (the bathroom was a little bit small). It is not a 4 star hotel as it says, but I would definetly stay again.
