“Great Hotel, Quiet and Quaint”

The included buffet breakfast offered a good selection. The hotel is short distance away from the sights, expect a little bit of a walk. Our room decor was dated but charming. Our room was very spacious and clean. The area is very quiet away from all the tourist crowds. I would stay there again, good value for your money.

Beautiful hotel, lovely antique furnishings and paintings. Located one block from the lovely Arno river,1/4 mile from Piazza Vecchio. Great walk along the quiet riverbank.Handy for car rental places/station. (15 min walk) Very good breakfast. Internet didn't work in room in 4 days. Other guests had same problem. Computer for guests in lobby.

“Quiet retreat near Arno”

Beautiful hotel, tastefully decorated with lovely furniture and paintings. Room nice and comfortable. Some noise from hallways etc. Breakfast OK. Could do with some fruit. Internet didn't work in room for the three days we were there. Computer avail.for guests in lobby which worked. Great location, quiet neighbourhood. 15 min. walk along the lovely Arno river to the 'old town'. colse to car rental places. We would stay again.

“Very good value and pleasant experience.”

Very nice hotel in good location - about 15 minute walk from train station and very close to river and 15-20 minute walk to main Florence attractions. Large room, quite quiet. Guest computer (although no ability to print) and lift were nice conveniences. We decided to stay on an extra night as we liked the hotel so much.
