Cute quiet hotelPosted 28-Jul-2014
Pros: The hotel has a lovely garden area which is perfect to sit out in with a glass of wine after a long day visiting the sites
Location: Close to the main station but is about a 15-20 minute walk to the main sites
Really lovely little hotel away from the main tourist traps but close enough to walk to them. Really friendly and helpful staff especially on the front desk.

Pros: The beautiful rooms
Close to SMN Train Station and the SITA Bus Terminal so ideal for people coming in/ leaving from the station. Few little cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. Away from the hustle and bustle of town so no issues with crowds or traffic noises at night time. But still within walking distance of all major tourist attractions. 20 minutes walk to the Duomo. Michelangelo Square is about 50 minutes walk. Beautiful spacious rooms with a Tuscan character. Very comfortable large bed. Room and ensuite very clean and cleaned daily. Excellent varied breakfast. Staff very nice and helpful.

Pleasant, quiet, convenientPosted 19-Jul-2014
Pros: Location was close to attractions, but far enough away from the chaos at the end of the day. Large room for a family of 4. Nice public areas.
Cons: Bathrooms need overall update.
Location: Florence and all its beauty is nearby.
For families looking for a convenient hotel away from the hustle of Florence, this place is a good solution. The rooms are huge, especially nice for our family of 4 (2 preteen daughters) and luggage. Secure parking in Florence is a plus if you need it. A garden area and a lounging area inside are nice to escape to also. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes max walking distance from the main tourist areas of Florence, so close enough, but quiet. It's a bit worn (the rooms), but I thought that added to the charm of it. My only reservation would be the bathrooms, which could really do with some updating - especially the facilities (shower, toilet, taps, etc.) - it would really help with the overall impression.

Good except for the breakfastPosted 25-Apr-2014
Everything was great except the listed breakfast of eggs, meats and fresh cheeses was actually cereal, stale bread and drip coffee. Fairly close to the city center as well.

A solid 3 star conveniently located.Posted 28-Jan-2014
Pros: Location was good. Price was right.
Cons: Toilet plumbing worked but needed fixing.
Our room on the ground floor was very large for European standards but the décor is quite passé--looks like a grandmother did it in 1950. But the staff is very nice, the continental breakfast was fine and it was within walking distance of the centro historico. The beds were comfortable and overall very clean. The toilet flushed only with a lot of patience and needs repair but other than that all was very well with the place.

Nice hotel with a wonderful staff.Posted 15-Jan-2014
Pros: The staff and the rooms.
Cons: Everything was great.
Location: We were near the main terminal in Rome which was a good location for everything.
I took my family to Italy for Christmas. There were 9 of us. We had 3 to a room and it was very comfortable. It was near the train terminal. The staff was wonderful and very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel. We were there 6 nights.

Nice hotel near ArnoPosted 8-Nov-2013
Nice hotel, close to all museums, yet in a quite area, small shops and restaurants around. Very cosy little garden with persimon tree - nice place to have a bottle of wine in the evening!

Fairly close to Firenze center and museums.Posted 6-Nov-2013 on Hotels.com
This seemed a fairly old hotel. The ventilation is somewhat poor and there was a musty smell. Nights were getting cold and heating did not come on. The staff did keep it clean, linens and towels etc. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Location was fairly close to center with access to critical bus routes and tram line fairly close and convenient. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly.
