“Excellent centrally located hotel”

I spent a few days in March at this hotel and had a fantastic time. It's newly redecorated, still Italian in it's feel and charm but also brought up to date and quite trendy/modern. Was very clean, our rooms were spacious and beds comfy. The breakfast was inclusive. Was quite basic with croissants, bread, cereal and 2 options of fruit, tea, coffee etc. I feel it could have been improved but this is really the only niggle I had. It was about 5 minutes walk to the center of town so a great location for all the site seeing. For the price this really was a bargain and I would recommend it highly.

Nice quiet location, Duomo only 5to 7 min walk. Hotel lobby slightly aged but our room was was quite spacious for a city hotel. The bathroom was spotless with great mirrors!

“Avis Hotel De La Pace”

“Great location”

Enjoyed our visit to Florence. The day trip advertised by the hotel to Pisa, Sienna and St Gigiminiano was excellent. Rooms spacious and clean. Hotel very close to Academia and Piazza San Marco. Several good priced eating places close by. Reception staff friendly and helpful.

“Central, clean and dependable”

This hotel is only a few minutes walk of the Duomo and is really well-located for all of the main sights. The rooms are of a good size, clean and are air-conditioned.We found the staff very friendly and are more than willing to help you with your requests. Breakfast is very basic with coffee not really resembling coffee. Do as we did and pop out to have coffee and a cornetti in one of the nearby cafes - there are loads to choose from. Overall - very good value, central, clean, comfortable. This is not a luxury hotel, but is a dependable option within this price range. We would go back there - and indeed plan to.

“Convenient, reasonable, clean.”

The Hotel is conveniently located several blocks from the Duomo and a short cab ride from the train/bus station. Breakfast room is a bit crowded; food was OK but needed to be replenished frequently. Room and bath were clean and cleaned daily with new towels etc (there was a fairly strong smell of cleaning products). We faced the inner courtyard, not pretty but quieter than the street facing side. The standard double was reasonably priced; probably accurately rated as a 3* hotel.
