“Awesome!”
awesome location just a few steps from the vecchio bridge. beautiful hotel, great view from he rooftop bar.
“Amazing Hotel In Florence”
The Hotel Continentale was simply amazing. I was surprised that the rooms are as incredible as the pictures. I was expecting a tiny room w/a tiny bathroom but it was quite large on both counts. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We decided any time we go back we will be staying here.

Our stay at Continentale was fantastic. We had a gorgeous room that looked just like the pictures online. The roof deck was amazing and we had drinks up there several nights. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and if I ever return to Florence I will definitely stay there again.
“Continentale Florence”
The hotel is perfectly located at the edge of the Ponte Vecchio. The second floor lounge that overlooks the bridge and the street is great for late afternoon people watching while you recharge to go explore the city. The rooms are very comfortable with the added benefit of DVD players and movies to loan. The location of the hotel in relation to the city made it the perfect centerpoint to explore. This was our fifth visit to Florence and our first at this hotel, we would recommend this hotel as the best we has stay in yet.
“Romantic, modern and sleek hotel in Florence.”
Everything worked out great at the Continentale. Room was gorgeous: sleek, modern, inviting, romantic. Location was outstanding, immediately opposite the Ponte Vecchio with great views and a short walk from the major sights. The property had a very inviting looking rooftop bar but despite us being there for three nights we never had the chance to check it out. They also have a sauna and breakfast area and chill out room. The room we had was great - very white, plenty of intriguing things like huge clock face night stands and a desk area that hid a mini-bar, chair and storage in what looked like a old fashioned trunk. This hotel contrasted well with our choice of a very 'grande dame' in Rome - the Westin Excelsior. The staff were courteous and knowledgable. For breakfast there are several options within the block but very expensive and very touristy. Would recommend going at least three blocks from Ponte Vecchio for half the price. We would thoroughly recommend The Continentale and would love to return!
“Escapade en Toscane”
Florence était a priori notre destination initiale, mais compte tenu de la foule, nous avons fait le choix de parcourir Florence rapidement et ne pas attendre une heure pour visiter chaque musée et/ou monument. Nous avons donc décidé de découvrir les alentours: Sienne, Lucques, la côte ouest et Pise, sont des lieux superbes et beaucoup moins fréquentés. Au retour, la quiétude de l'hôtel, parfaitement situé et de grande qualité nous permettait de goûter un repos dans le calme et la tranquillité.
“A Modern Oasis”
Decorated with a modern yet warm flair, the Continentale is in an excellent location which is conveniently located within steps of the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery. It is a well maintained hotel with a delightful roof top lounge that provides wonderful views of the city and surrounding area and which is a good place to relax after a long day of sight seeing.
“Perfect Location / Service / Facilities”
Spend the first 3 nights of our honeymoon at the Continentale in Aug 09. We arrived well before the agreed check in time and the receptionist welcomed us and arranged a room within seconds. The location is perfectly for all the tourist attractions. The room was beautiful, clean and well ventilated and soundproofed. We were facing the street and overlooking the Ponte Vechio and Arno river on the 3rd floor. The Sky Bar on the roof of the hotel was the best bar in town at sunset and a nice place to escape during the heat of the day. Can't say enough good things about this hotel... credit where due, they made our trip.
“Better than expected!”
I had great expectations for this hotel, all of which were exceeded. Must schedule some down time in the relax room and sip a Negroni watching the locals go by!
“Continental : Hotel Chich au centre de Florence”
Hotel aux services de qualité. Irreprochable quant a la chambre. piece reposante agréable personnel discret . Seul petit moins, je m attendais a un petit dejeuner de meilleure qualité compte tenu des prix.
