"Convenient for the pupose of our visit."
Easy to find without the need of a sat nav. Very friendly staff from the point of arrival at reception through until we left. Good food and service. The room was clean to a high standard and comfortable. For a change I found a bed I felt I could sleep in - in fact I had a great nights sleep. For the purpose of our visit the hotel was ideally situated and we will use it again for subsequent visits to the area. We would recommend it to anyone needing to stay in that area.

"Handy location for N Y moors and seaside"
Overall a very pleasant weekend. The B and B was very comfortable and the local pub served excellent food. We were able to combine walking, with a trip on the steam train and a visit to the seaside.

"Lovely, comfortable place to stay"
Stayed at the Wentworth Arms overnight. The room was clean and comfortable the bed was lovely! There was some noise from the bar downstairs but it was a busy Friday night however, it did not bother us at all. We had a lovely evening meal, 2 meals of Fish and Chips, or should I say Whale and Chips for £12. There was also a good menu but we chose the fish and chips, washed down with a lovely cold, white wine. The atmosphere in the bar/ restraunt was very enjoyable and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast did not disappoint either. All in all a lovely place to stay and conveniently situated for a walk into Malton. We will be going to Malton again next year and will definitely be staying here.

"Lovely Place!"
Stayed here for 1 night while on Business in Malton. The first impression was excellent, from having plenty of parking available to the beautifully landscaped gardens; one look over the wall toward the river showed how much care had been taken over the recent refurbishment, the gardens were immaculate. The room was spacious with a nice modern en suite shower room, the TV had all free view channels and the room was perfectly clean. My room faced out onto the road but was excellently soundproofed with extra glazing, however, I was in a room at the top of the stairs so was subject to hearing every guest coming and going. I didn't dine in the evening but breakfast was great with lots of choice. I did look at the dinner menu but at £12 for a starter and £20 - £25 for a main course it was more than my overnight business budget allowed, or indeed more than I wanted to spend to dine alone. All in all, I had a great stay and will be back next year.

"Beautiful Room"
Everything about the room was great. We had a king size bed with an ensuite bathroom attached to the main house. Everything was of top notch quality. One small complaint would be the bed was firmer than we like but that may just be us. There was a small fridge in the room with cold water in it for our use and milk for coffee or tea with a pot provided. Also a couple of packages of cookies and a few sweets in the room. These were quite nice touches. Bathroom had heated towel rack. Only thing I would add is a towel ring by the sink to hang the hand towel. Only towel bar was the heated rack on opposite side of the room (a very minor complaint) Breakfast was what they call Yorkshire portions and was quite substantial and very good. We had juice, coffee or tea, a nice bowl of fresh berries and melons, gamon bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast w/jams and eggs cooked to your liking. What more could you ask for. Owner was very nice and could not do enough for you.

"Friendly and welcoming"
High Farm bed and breakfast is a lovely old farmhouse full of character and set in extensive grounds a couple of miles from Pickering, North Yorkshire. Ruth and Stephen who run it are fantastic people, they did everything they could to make us welcome and nothing was too much trouble including plates of home-made cakes when we arrived in the afternoons to putting some spare food in their fridge! The full English breakfast each morning was awesome and set us up for the day! The room was very comfortable and quiet and everything that we needed was there. All in all, we had a brilliant weekend and will be sure to stay again next time we are in the area.
