The building itself is older, but the rooms look as though they've been updated and the lobby is quite nice. I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I would stay there again if I needed to. We were happy with our stay. 😊👌🏼
The hotel appears to be fairly new or recently renovated. Our only surprise was to find that we had just a shower and no bathtub in our room. Not that this was a big deal, but if you expect to have a room with a tub, you probably need to request it when making your reservation. Everything else was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again if in the area.
I was in town for a softball tournament with my daughter. I was a little concerned when I pulled into the parking lot about the type of hotel I was to be staying in. There were multiple people outside hanging around smoking. The exterior looked a little old and not clean. People were milling around the lobby area and the hotel staff seemed irritated and not very friendly when I checked in. There was trash lined up outside the door and inside in the hallway upstairs. The halls weren't vacuumed a cluttered with grass clippings on the stairs. To my surprise I opened the door to the room and it was spacious. A nice size bathroom and spacious. I was afraid there would be yelling and screaming and crazy behavior all night long. But after playing softball all day and needing a shower I was giving them 1 night. My daughter and I both showered got cleaned up and left for dinner with the team. When we returned around 10 pm there were still people outside and I was afraid it was going to be a sleepless night. To my surprise it was quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfortable. If your looking for 5 star amenities go to a 5 star hotel. For the price this was a nice experience. The staff needs to work on their manors but they kept our room clean and nice for the week.
