“Excellent value”

The unit was clean and very recently refurnished with a large very up-to-date bathroom and good quality furnishings. Although not described as having any kitchen facilities, it had a fridge, a microwave, tea towels, and tea and coffee making facilities.The staff were tremendously helpful and even provided a free courtesy car to connect to the coach early in the morning.

“Practical Place to Stay”

It's a practical place to stay for people who mostly spend time outdoors & needs a place to sleep at the end of the day. The location was very accessible to the CBD. Staff was pleasant.

“Recommended for a quick and cheap stay.”

I stayed in a motel room. Although very dated, it was comfortable, clean and quiet. Would recommend for a cheap but quick stay.

“Fine for one night.”

Good basic hotel. Nothing special. Just a few hundred metres from the DOC office. Not particularly convenient for the centre of Te Anau though. There were lots of hotels, motels and backpakers along the beautiful lake front which I suspect provide a better atmosphere and experience. It was fine for me as I was only there for one night.

“Good Affordable Hotel in Te Anau for Milford Sound Trips”

This hotel is Te Anau has stylish modern rooms, which is surprising from a view of its simple hallway. The room had a fridge and kettle, with coffee, tea and milk provided, and a modern TV. Rooms are comfortable. Walking distance to "downtown" Te Anau. A great spot to stay to do a side trip to Milford Sound.

“Te Anau”

Hotel reception were very nice and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Tv only got 2 chanels but only there one night so not a bother.
