Great hotel, great location in San Francisco. The Wi-fi wasn't the best and was quite expensive for the amount of megabytes you received.

"Great Hotel in San Francisco's Financial District"
We traveled to San Francisco for a short vacation and were blown away by the views from our room and the glassed walkway between the two hotel towers. Lots of San Franciscan things to do and see. China Town, the Embarcadero, the Cable Cars, access to the Ferries for bay cruises, Alcatraz and Sausalito, and fine dining were all within reasonable walking distance. Really enjoyed it.

"excellent hotel in financial district"
Although expensive, this is a very nice, stylish hotel in the financial district. The staff is very extremely helpful. My only negative is that there were minimal amenities (no shower cap, only one bar of soap for shower and sink, etc.)

"Ultra-expensive sleepless night before SF Pride"
The front desk staff at the Harbor Court hotel were very prompt, courteous, and helpful. The hotel itself was comfortable, contemporarily updated though the building itself has probably been there for decades. Our room was clean and well-maintained; the air conditioner was loud but kept the room nice and cool all night. The room was rather long, with a lot of wasted floor space between the foot of the bed and the wall with the TV, wardrobe, and bathroom door. A small table and chairs would fit there easily and could've been a nice touch. Why a rating of 3 overall? I barely slept a wink; the room had only down-filled pillows which are useless to me; for the way I sleep, 1 was not enough support and 2 was too many. The extra pillow in the wardrobe seemed to be stuffed with something else but was even thinner. Compounding the problem was that the night we stayed was the night before the SF Pride Parade, so the rates were probably 2-3x the normal rate: we paid $439 overall for a single night, which is *really* a lot for what we got. In hindsight, we would've been better to brave the traffic & trains that morning instead of paying for the convenience of walking to the parade route. Bonus feedback: The "cookies & milk at 9pm" weren't ready at 9pm or even 9:10pm, so when we called down to the front desk at 9:30 to inquire and they were already gone, that was disappointing. Given that the staff boasted of this nightly feature multiple times... that was a bummer.

"Nice hotel! Good location!"
Our room was comfortable and clean! The location was convenient close to Bart station and close to local bars! Loved the filtered bottled water on almost every floor! The clubhouse offered coffee and tea which was lovely! The top floor deck was one of my favorite things about the hotel!

"Great hotel in a great location. "
We stayed for two nights and liked everything about this hotel. The location was great, the decor was nice, everything about the room was great. We even had a bite to eat in the restaurant and enjoyed the food. We will definitely stay here again.

"Comfortable stay"
It was our first time in SF and this was a good base to get around the city. Right next to Chnatown, close to the Trolley cars, and walking distance (a decent walk!) to Fishermans Wharf. Staff were excellent and really helpful.

"Good location, close to Chinatown"
When it comes to your satisfaction about a hotel stay, it's all relative to your expectation. Thanks for the previous reviews, I did not set the expectation too high. Since I would be traveling solo without children, and would spend most time in a conference during the day, I decided to take it up for two nights. I checked in around 4:00 pm, but the room was still not ready. I was told to leave my bags there and come back later. However, after a flight delay, I needed to refresh up before wandering around, so I told them I'd rather wait in the lobby. The room was ready before 4:30 pm. During the check in, they confirmed the room rate. Because of the tax and fee added, make sure to check the rate you got from Expedia so that the both rates are in agreement. They asked me to sign a lengthy agreement to their policies such as no guest later than 10pm, no illegal drugs in room etc. I don't have problem to sign such an agreement. However, they declined to give me a copy of the agreement which I don't understand why. They later said there was a copy of the agreement in the room, which was of course untrue. So, I took photos of the agreement using my phone. The room was small, but clean. It did not have AC for summer, but fortunately for SF, just open the window to let breeze in. It has a sink in room, but separate shared restroom and shower in hallway. It was not crowded, and I planned most my restroom needs off site, so it was not a problem for me. The room was quiet at night.

"European style hostel in the heart of SF!"
I found this hostel a perfect stay for single travelers who enjoy independence and self reliance. Accommodation is adequate and atmosphere is relaxed. Daily free breakfast and every other day free dinner add to an almost college dormitory like experience. Overall, it was a delightful and pleasant stay.

"Not for the discerning but not without charm"
This is a residential hotel. Very basic. I thought I'd paid for a room with a microwave and fridge but there wasn't such items. However, to be fair, I didn't say anything. This hotel is for budget travellers who are not fussy. It is not of a high standard but there are much worse. I got a room, tele, bed (lousy pillow) and the showers and toilets were shared. Don't be put off though-this hotel was value and had some kind of charm and in a safe place but if you are someone who has high standards it may not be for you. I was perfectly happy there.

Pocket Guide: Financial District - Ferry Building, San Francisco Beach Hotels

The bulls and bears of industry tread the streets of the Financial District, home to the city’s tallest buildings, including the iconic Transmerica Pyramid. The towers give way to The Embarcadero, the broad, palm-lined avenue that begins at the San Francisco Giant’s AT&T Park and ends at Fisherman’s Wharf. The road passes by the Ferry Building, a landmark transformed into an artisanal food market.
