Recreation
The Westin Denarau Island Resort and Spa has a 25-metre infinity lap pool (for adults only), a two-tier swimming pool with adjacent children's pool, and two spa tubs overlooking the ocean. Numerous water sports are offered on the private beach, including banana boating, sailboarding, kayaking, windsurfing, and scuba-diving lessons. There is a fully equipped, air-conditioned fitness centre that can be accessed around the clock daily by in-house guests. Other recreational facilities include billiards, lawn bowling, table tennis, and a playground. Bicycle rentals are available nearby (surcharge). Guests have access to the adjacent Denarau Golf and Racquet Club, where there are an 18-hole resort golf course and driving range, six grass tennis courts, and four floodlit, synthetic courts. Green fees (including a shared cart, tees, and a course guide) apply. Both golf and tennis lessons are available. Guests may also take a complimentary shuttle boat to private Akuilau Island (10 minutes) for sunbathing and picnics.

“We will be back!”
First impressions of this hotel were that it looks exactly like the pictures!the staff were amazing from check in to check out and overall we could not have been happier. The restaurants were excellent not only the service but also the selection available. The Meke Lounge was an excellent place to being at night and be entertained by the fire dancing and then acoustic singing. We used the day spa and gym facilities and I have to say they were the best I've been too overseas. Our room was awesome again exactly like the pictures and it was always well cleaned. Overall I cannot express how impressed I was with everything at this resort from the shops to the Fiji Market to our room and the amazing pool and restaurants. A truly amazing place to stay- we will be going back asap!

“Paradise”
Let me just say that I was born in Fiji however I moved to Australia permanently when I was two years old. I have been back to Fiji a handful of times since and stayed at other resorts so I was not expecting much on this trip. My cousin (also lives in Sydney, Aus) decided to have his wedding in Fiji so over 100 friends and family from Sydney made the trip across to Fiji to share the experience with him. No one left home disappointed. The majority of us stayed at the Westin Denarau Island Resort and we had the absolute time of our lives. The staff are so friendly and quality of service is exceptional. There are a few hotels along the Denarau Island stretch but the Westin easily wins hands down by creating an authentic Fijian Island experience. Staying in an Ocean Front room, it was incredible at night to have what seemed like your own private little space of beach literary on your doorstop. Food and entertainment at the hotel was incredible as well. There is an abundance of food on offer during it's buffet times and the restaurants are of high quality food & service. Another bonus is that the hotel is located very close to Denarau Port which opens up an entire new holiday world. The Port also has many other fine eateries and shopping experiences as well as being a central hub that allows you to Island hop during the day if you want to explore all of the beauty of secluded Islands. Overall I would honestly rate my holiday adventure as the best 7 days of my life!

“Westin will be hard to beat!!!”
The first impression of the resort is how grand it is. they used fires to illuminate the place which adds warmth and authenticity. The staff will go out of their way to assist and always polite and genuinely happy and friendly. The bathroom needs abit of work done but thats minor compare to other great things this resort offers. I feel like I come back home every day I step back into the resort. it is so relaxing and they play sing tasteful music at the bar, there is no better time than sitting there watching free fire dance and drinking discounted corktail at bula hour. i will recommend westin to anyone and we can't wait to go back ourself. i forgot to mention, they delivered a bottle of champagne and form a rose petaled heart on our honeymoon bed. Also, included free buffet breakfast every morning. this experience is very hard to beat!!!
“Definately cant wait to go back”
The Westin Resort and Spa - Denaru Island definately added a touch of heaven to the destination. The staff, the convenience, transport, tours desks and activites available to guests was superb. Was definately one of the more outstanding resorts out of the 8/9 other resorts present on Denaru Island. My friends and I would not have to think about reconsidering the Westin again as it is already a definate yes. If you are looking for a great place to stay, excellent staff and guests, convenient location to shops and town, great views and activities then The Westin is definately for you.
“Fantastic getaway”
This was our third visit to Fiji and we once again had a fantastic time. The weather (we travelled at the end of April) was picture perfect, not a drop of rain. Beautiful warm days and slightly cooler nights. The Westin beds are the most comfortable we have ever slept in. We did a resort crawl to check out the fantastic bars at the other resorts along Denauru Island and had several meals at the great restaurants at the port. We particularly enjoyed our meal at the Steak House restaurant overlooking the water at the Westin. Amazing holiday yet again, we will certainly go back.

We went to relax and chill out and that is exactly what we got. Lovely atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and lots of delicious options for dinner. Not a lot to do after dinner though.
“The friendliest place I've ever been!”
The hotel was amazing! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the a/c worked great. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. Everyone at the hotel (well in Fiji) was so friendly. The Bula Bus takes you to the other hotels and to the marina (It was free and came often.) The tour desk at the hotel was very useful. We loved the Seaspray trip to Modriki and also seeing the children in the village. To see the real Fiji book a tour to the other islands. We also took a taxi into Nadi to Jack's to get gifts. We had no problems in the city although we were approached several times by locals to go with them to a great shop. Don't go with them just stay in the shops within a few blocks of Jack's.
“Relaxation...Here We Come!”
We stayed at the Westin Denarau and absolutely loved it. The whole purpose for our trip was to relax and lay on the beach, and we could have taken many day trips if we wanted to. Our breakfast was included and it was fabulous! They upgraded us to an ocean front balcony because we were SPG members. The only downside was that the room smelled like smoke and even though it is a no smoking resort, lots of people still smoke, and the Fijians are just too nice to stop them. You will love the people in Fiji but make sure you tip them because they are only getting paid like $2.50 per hour, which seems like robbery to me. They will be so surprised when you do tip them and they will go out of their way even more to server you as well...maybe even inviting you to their homes for a traditional Fijian meal. One more word...SPA...go to it, you can get a 2 hour hot stone massage that is to die for. It is more affordable at the spa in Fiji than anywhere else I have seen and you also have the use of their amazing Vischy showers. The resort was generally filled with Aussies and Kiwis...not Americans and that was refreshing as well. I loved it and would totally go back!
