“Perfect stay”
Everything was perfect. The staff are fantastic - we were staying for my daughter's birthday and I mentioned this in conversation at dinner. The waitress then arranged for a cake with sparklers and 'Happy Birthday' on the piano which made her night. The kids absolutely love the games room - unsupervised so probably older kids would benefit from this. Only slight disappointment was that the cinema was closed on the Saturday night, highlight of their previous trip was watching a movie in what felt like their own private cinema. We are planning on returning in October for my son's birthday, please can the cinema be open on Saturday nights?

Second trip to St Andrews, stayed at the Fairmont on my first trip and it was a winner. Why change from a winner. Everyone at the hotel, from front desk, front door to the 4 reataurants were courteous, helpful and friendly. Only draw back was like of TV channels. It would have made my trip perfect if I could have had more channels to watch at night.
“Perfect for a get-away”
Have visited the hotel on business on a few occasions but this was the first time on a vacation visit. Just stayed for one night, my husband was golfing and I spent a pleasant morning in the well equipped gym & pool. Hotel was very comfortable with staff friendly and helpful. Can't wait for an excuse to go back.

We like comfort, efficiency, enthusiastic staff and all resort facilities. Why go any where else? A pleasure to find such an array of what we wanted in a great location with a real flavor of Scotland
“Would love to go back!!”
We only stayed one night but we loved it and would love to go back someday!! Everyone was so friendly and nice with the exception of the girl that was working at the hotel check-in desk, she was not friendly, which at first didn't make a great impression, maybe she was just having a bad day. Everyone else was so nice, especially the men working at the door, they made you feel very welcome!!
“Surely St Andrews' Finest”
The Fairmont St Andrews proved to be a truly 5 star experience with an attentive and dedicated staff who made our short stay very memorable. Although the hotel is still undergoing a degree of refurbishment we found the accommodation to be of an extremely high standard, matched only by the superb location on the Fife coastline.
“A Perfect Place to Enjoy St Andrews”
This hotel sets just outside of the village of St Andrews alongside the Castle Course with a spectacular view of the coastline. You are welcomed by its architecture and ambience and immediately know your about to experience one of Fairmont's premier properties. The staff is extremely cordial and helpful with a quickness to facilitate any request you have to help your stay be a delight. The rooms were well appointed and the bathroom in the standard rooms is larger than some hotel rooms i have been in in London with a full bath with separate shower! The complimentary shuttle will have you in the midst of the village or in front of the British Golf Museum within a 15 minute travel time with faithfulness to the return schedule being just as punctual. The included breakfast was a buffet with cooked to order eggs and omelets with a wonderful selection to fit any palate. You will not want to miss this oasis in the Scottish coast side or the many wonderful people you will meet in the township.

The purpose of our visit to the hotel was a quiet relaxing weekend away and the hotel exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived staff were extremely helpful and friendly and more than happy to accomodate any request! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will visit again.
