We were looking for something safe and inexpensive and that's what we got. Front desk staff was helpful getting us a room that didn't smell like smoke. Second room was great and it met our expectations.
"Just wanted a nice, clean motel for a decent price"
The only complaint I have is there was no hot water. If I had been staying longer it would have been an issue. We were on the 3rd floor and they may have had hot water on the lower floors, but they should find a fix, Everybody wants hot water,
The room was comfortable and clean. The pool and hot tub were good sized and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. I witnessed the gal at the front desk handling some extremely difficult customers while I was trying to check out and she handled it beautifully, never faltering in her positive attitude and professionalism. The location is great, close to everything.

"Nice hotel but condition is different from booking"
This hotel is conveniently located off major freeway. Facility is relatively new and inviting. However, I booked a suite for 4 adults and a child. In the room description during booking at Expedia, it said the sofa bed is Queen size. But it is actually a full size, which is a little tight for 2 adults. Also the bedding and towels were not prepared for 5 guests. We had to request after our arrival.
In between Seattle to the north and Tacoma to the south, Federal Way offers easy access to both cities via freeway or at its transit center hub. Originally a logging settlement, Federal Way is now home to a large Korean community and the Weyerhaeuser Company. Federal Way’s many parks include the 12-acre Dumas Bay Centre, Dash Point State Park, and the West Hylebos Wetlands Park.
