“Dingy Hotel”
From the outside, the hotel looks ok, but once you step foot in the lobby and are greeted by an unpolished employee at the front desk, it's all downhill. The rooms don't appear to have been updated since the hotel was built. It was the bare minimum inside, with an old school TV, lighting, and dreadful comforters and carpeting. The walls need new wall paper as they are dingy and grimy looking. The lighting in the bathroom was horrid and the ONLY thing that had been updated was the bar holding the shower curtain. The hotel was very unsettling and we couldn't wait to get out of there!
“Won't go back, ever!”
Not at all what I expected from a Day's Inn. Room was dark, damp feeling, reeked HEAVILY of smoke (I'm a smoker, but really!) Toilet wobbled and clanked every time I sat down on it, barely flushed without holding the handle. Flourescent light bulb (yellow too, I think), one burned out over the sink making it almost impossible to see what I was doing. Worse yet, old coffee filter still in the pot COVERED in mold--absolutely gross! Fortunately I was in and out quickly and spent little time in the room. Front desk staff very nice and efficient. This is, as I recall a somewhat locally owned motel. NEEDS lots of cleaning and updating. Will not ever stay there again, makes me cautious about staying at any Day's Inn in the future.
“Don't stay here!”
Our 1st room was dirty and had a wet spot on the floor. Tried a 2nd room, and the shower stop was broken spewing shower water all over the bathroom. We cancelled and will never go back.
