“Much better than was expected!!”

This hotel was far more than we expected. It is an older hotel but was very clean. The hotel employees were very friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with the free hot breakfast. It was well worth the cost and it was easy to find. I would definately recommend this hotel to friends and I would certainly stay there again!!

“Glad I deceided to stay her”

Was very pleased with the hotel upon arrival. After reading the reviews was not sure what to expect. It is under new management are have made improvements from what others have said in their posts. I booked the room with two beds for myself for the week. My grandmother was in the hospital not doing to well. My parents drove up from Oklahoma and did not have a place to stay in Fargo. I let the Front Desk know and they said my Parents were welcome to stay in my room with no additional charge. The breakfast that was included was good also, and they comped my parents breakfast also. They do have a shuttle service, and told me if it was not available they would pay for cab to airport. Will definitely stay here again. Maybe next time will try and enjoy Pool (very nice indoor pool).

The bed and pillows were not comfortable. The room had a fridge and a microwave, phone and cable tv , of course. The room was clean although not updated, but for the price I would return. I think there was a nice pool, lounge and restaurant there although I did not use any of them this trip. I was pleased with the overall quietness of my room, easy access to my car, amenities were great for the price of the room! Other hotels are charging almost twice as much with no fridge and microwave & smaller pool just because they are newer or updated.

The hot breakfast is not good. The room was mostly clean. It is cheap and allows smoking. It suited my business needs.

ok for the price. Bathroom wasn't as clean as I would have liked to see. Rest of the room was fine. OK pool area.

“Not again!”

The hotel was nice ten to fifteen years ago. It has narrow halls old bedsand broken ice machines. The breakfast was not all warm and they acted as you needed to eat and leave.

“Met the basic needs and wants”

We needed a room on short notice. They had the nicest service desk help. The room was nothing extra fancy, but clean and warm, fridge and microwave if needed. Kids liked the pool; again nothing exceptional, but clean and it met the basics.

“THE VISTA INN- FARGO, ND”

-the room was older, but it was confortable and well cleaned and computer wifi -the front desk help was good- -I needed a hair dryer and one was provided -the free breakfast and coffee were TERRIIBLE and the wait staff was lacking -the bar area was good- drinks were reasonably priced

“I should have listened to what the reviews said.”

Some of the reviews stated that the breakfast was less than desireable. Well that was an understatement. We arrived for breakfast at 8:20 and were told that the meal that came with the room was bacon eggs and toast along with coffee. There were only two other tables with people seated at them. In a few minutes we had coffee, a whole pot sitting on the table. Then the wait started. We finnished the pot and I looked around and no one had any food at their table. I asked the waitress how long it would be because we had a funeral to go to. She said that the second cook was just arriving and it would be only a few more minutes. Well at 9:10 the two tables before us were served and then one of the tables that arrived after us got their breakfast. I asked the waitress how much longer it would be and was told that they had run out of eggs and were switching to pancakes and it would only be a little longer. I still needed to get ready for the funeral so we got up to leave and so did the people at three other tables. I would say that anyone who wants a good meal while staying at this motel should go out and get one somewhere else.
