“GREAT PLACE TO STAY”
worth staying at when visiting the fargo area
“Great place for the kids”
Pool area is great and there is always someone there to make sure that the adults and older kids don't take over the pool. Hallways and exits can get a little confusing.
“Larger and child friendly”
The staff is what makes this hotel shine through, They are very friendly and accomidating, and not just the front-desk. The maids and cleaning crew will knock before they enter and keep knocking if they hear noise just to make sure they don't barge into your privacy. Also, children roam free, but they were really well behaved. Every day, around 7-11AM they will come along and clean your room. They can come back later, in about 2-3 hours. The water park is something I didn't experience. I enjoyed the rest I got after the Fargo Marathon back in my room. Everything is clean and you get a nice flat screen 42 inch plasma i believe is 720p. I stayed in a two queen room on the 2nd floor. It's a very large hotel, right across from the west acres mall. Literally, cross the street and there's the mall. You can get free breakfast but I recommend tipping or go across for subway, some asian food, bbq, pizza, or whatever. It's right of the highway so it should be easy to get to. They offered a free pick-up and drop-off to the airport so that's another plus. The room and bathrooms are clean. The bathrooms included marble and a artwork. It's still white in there too, completely white with no stains or anything. They also give a lot of towels, lotion, bar soap, shampoo, makeup remover, or if you need it- razors or shaving cream, but only through request. I went for the Fargo Marathon, and with this hotel, the place I stayed for the most, I felt at "home".
“Will reccomend and go back if I have to”
The Hotel was nice, room lean but it wa a bit busy and noisy at night. Lots going on in the Hotel on Saturdays. Lots of events and parties, making it a bit uneasy to walk around. Qite few drunks around. The swiming pool area was to congested and every time we walk to cross the area the smell of chlorine almost knocks you down. All in all it was good, close to everything in particular right across the Acres Mall. Will go back if I have to. But would like to try maybe another hotel not quite so busy, but looks like The Holiday Inn is about one of the nicest.
“Great Place to Stay”
Comfortable beds, clean, and quiet!
“Will return!”
Everything was great. Location perfect.
“Nice Hotel except for the so called "waterpark"”
Very nice room and hotel. We were very happy with it until we decided to go to the "waterpark" This was a huge dissappointment. Very small, and not much to do there. My daughter who loves to swim was ready to leave in a couple of minutes.
“Very accomodating!”
Very clean, comfortable and accomodating!
“Great pool for toddlers and preschoolers”
For the price I paid for a standard 2-queen room, I expected the rooms to have mini-fridges and/or microwaves, but they don't unless you pay even more. But, even with this annoyance, the hotel is worth the money if you have kids. The pool area is fantastic! My 2- and 4-year old had a great time. Free life vests for all, five water slides and the pool doesn't go beyond 4 feet deep, which is very important when you have little ones.
“Good Family Friendly Motel”
Very convenient to mall, has a very good resteraunt that they give you a coupon for (bonus) and then you don't have to take the kids out in the FREEZING cold of our ND weather. Staff very friendly. Only downfall, the pool was very cold...too cold for our 3 and 1 year old, which was the reason we stayed there.
