“Good Hotel with friendly front desk staff”

This hotel is great if you want to stay somewhere on a budget. The front desk staff was very helpfull and polite. We had asked to switch rooms from a smoking to a non-smoking room and they did the very next day. We had asked for some items that we left behind and they were very accomodating and we had them right away. The continential breakfast was good. If something ran out during the breakfast they were right there refilling it. The pool and hottub is open from 11:00 p.m. - Midnight for adults only so thats nice to have. This is a great hotel and would reccomend it. I plan to stay there again the next time I visit Fargo!

The Front Desk staff were extremely helpful and courteous. I was there on business, and the staff exceeded expectations in helping with the wireless internet issues and delivery of business documents to the hotel.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights on a week end. Everything was great...except at breakfast i thought the waffle maker should of been turned down because it would overcook the waffle until it was dryed out but still tasted good.

“Decent”

This hotel is located in an area of what seems like nearly all of Fargo's hotels (and I have stayed at a number of them) - and it looks like most all of the them - boring. But the rooms are nice, the price was good and the service was good.

“An ok place to stay”

This hotel is nothing special, an affordable place to stay and that is about it. The bathroom is the size of closet.... very small. Amenities are definitely worn, but are reasonably clean. The hotel was very busy at the time of my stay and the service was good. The continental breakfast was convenient but nothing to write home about. The room and the price serve my needs as I was not a vacation. I was in Fargo for business reasons. My bed was comfortable. The second floor had no elevator access could only get there by stairs. You can smell smoke in the hallways from the smoking rooms.

“Tobacco and lumpy mattresses...”

This hotel just reeked of tobacco. The room itself less so. The beds were extremely soft and lumpy, and thus, uncomfortable. I won't be back here when there are so many other choices in Fargo.

“Okay, but needs some attention!”

I am going to write comfort Inn corporate regarding this hotel. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was clean, but the comforter had burn holes in it - and this is a non-smoking room. The pool and hot tubs in both the comfort Inn and the comfort suites next door (owned by same people with shared amenities) were in noticeably bad shape with cloudy water (possibly bacteria and other impurities) present in the comfort inn pool and the comfort suites hot tub. In the comfort inn's hot tub, there was residue in the bottom of it. I asked the staff about this and they said it was just "sand" from cleaning the hot tub. She (front desk staff member) claimed other customers had asked about this. I knew better than this and did not go in it. The next day the pool maintenance guy was there and told me there was bacteria in the pool and that the residue (looked like about a pint of soil particles scattered on the bottom of the hot tub) was in fact particulate matter from the filter that had broken. The pool in the comfort suites appeared to be in good shape (clear water), but based on the fact the other 3 swimming facilities were in disrepair, I decided not to risk it. The last issue is that the shower curtain rod is bent out toward the bathroom, which generally is a good idea, but this rod encroached the area to the bathroom which limited use of the bathroom when the door was open, which was fairly annoying from a single occupant's perspective.

“Life's short, upgrade if possible.”

Although it was safe, relatively clean in the room, warm and quiet, several light fixtures did not work, were loose, or lacked connection. When i told the front desk person he seemed to know and said they'd had some problems. They don't appear to be difficult problems, but they do need addressing. A good carpet cleaning in the hotel would go a long way to increasing the appearance. The hot food cooker for eggs and ham wasn't working, and the attendant didn't even realize it until I told her.
