paper thin walls

Posted 18-Feb-2014
Pros: seeing it in the rear view mirror.
Cons: sound insulation between the rooms esp. the connecting doors!
Lets just put it this way I could hear every word the people in the next room said. Or did not say...

It's a drinking hole not a place for rest!

Posted 8-Jan-2014
They allow the bar patrons to come in wasted and drink to their hearts content! We had drunk people arguing in the halls at 2am and almost banged our door down! People arguing outside our window in the parking lot, and getting into cars and speeding through the parking lot! The manager didn't seem to care too much to return my phone calls, and wouldn't give me a refund for my horrible stay! Worst place I've ever stayed at!

The Quality Inn is lacking quality

Posted 7-Jan-2014
Pros: Proximity to Splash Lagoon (Erie). The bed was comfortable.
Cons: Pretty much everything
Location: Erie restaurants and Splash Lagoon
The hotel is dumpy inside and out and the people staying there when I was there were not of the highest caliber either. They also had the WORST buffet I EVER experienced. The only thing I ate were pastries and fruit because everything else was either fatty (sausage, home fries, etc) or inedible (eggs that looked ½ cooked). If you stay here, avoid the breakfast even though it is complimentary.

Great place to stay while shopping

Posted 9-Dec-2013
Pros: convenient location for shopping and near the interstate. The price was great for what you get.
Cons: We noticed that the vending machine was very dusty, and they could get rid of the ashtrays in the hall.
Location: conveniently located near Mill Creek Mall, and an hour down the road from Grove City. Great shopping. . l
we really enjoyed our stay the desk clerk was friendly on our arrival, room clean and comfortable. We did not spend a lot of time in the room as we were shopping most of the time for Black Friday, but slept well, the beds were comfy and the room quiet. The buffet was good, except that they did not have much food out, and we had to wait to get any eggs or french toast. The staff was great, from the helpful housekeeper to the waitress and cook.

They offer a free buffet breakfast but since there weren't many guests, they cancelled it. Instead, they gave me a free breakfast off the menu. Yummy!

This hotel is neading some tender loving care.

Posted 2-Dec-2013
Staff at front desk were helpful and friendly but the hotel is dirty and tired. Our bathroom had mold. The hallway rugs were dirty. Hallways, entry ways and front lobby smeeled strongly of ciggarettes. Bedding was clean and beds were comfortable but its time to spruce it up a bit

Smelly hotel

Posted 2-Dec-2013
Actually booked this location by accident. Thought it was another location I usually stay at. Smoking was allowed at this hotel. But as we were non smokers we really noticed the smell. The lobby & hallways reeked of stale smoke. The room was not as bad but I think it was because it looked to be newly renovated. Regardless it was only 10 minutes away from where we shopped. So that was a plus I guess

Outside of town

Posted 1-Dec-2013
We were concerned as it looked initially like a truckdriver and young people stop but we found it comfortable. Noise was not a big problem. Some is just due to hotel structure. Staff was Excellent and friendly at what they did - all of them. Good value from an older hotel.
