“Excellent Holiday!”

I read the reviews myself before we made our reservation, and I cannot understand the negative response so many had. Our family was very well taken care of by the staff. The room itself was as clean as could be and they supplied us with all the extras, towels, washcloths, and a rollaway bed. Their restaurant on the premises was also very accomodating with a free complimentary breakfast, which is very helpful to have it served early from 6-9 a.m. They even had a shuttle to pick you up and return you back to the hotel after visiting 6 Flags, our shuttle driver, Matt, was outstanding, putting up with our forgetting our entry passes for the Park and taking us back the 2nd time! He was like a limo driver when we came out of the park at the end of the day, when all the other crowds were exhaustedly walking steadily on to the parking lot, our driver jumped out of the van to greet us and open our doors and load our baby pram. They have wi-fi in the room, and an oversized refridgerator in the room. The room itself was small for a family of 5, so next time we will have to get a suite I suppose. Very friendly staff and clean premises, we liked how close it was to 6 Flags, just less than 10 minutes to drive.

Guests are given a ticket to a continental breakfast at the diner located next door. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Furniture and fixed items were old looking with some minor damage to bathroom vanity top.

“Nice Enough for the price”

if you are not paying a small fortune a night for a hotel that is exactly what you are going to get. It is a nice enough hotel. The people that work there are amazing but the hotel is simple. You can only get to San Francisco by using a five dollar toll bridge.

“If only”

The people who worked at the hotel were very kind to us, but wasn't impressed with hotel...very dirty carpet, had to knock webs off ceiling and no hangers were provided to hang up clothes.

“I would stay here again”

the motel was a great value and conveniently located to where we wanted to go. Breakfast was okay but the same everyday and very carbo loaded. The foot heavy people and yipping dog above us were very annoying at 11 pm and 6 am. We would stay here again but ask that we have a second floor room. The neighborhood seems a little sketchy but we didn't have any problems. We loved the convenience of the grocery outlet store next door for late night snacks. The front desk staff were friendly and good with directions.

“Great Room... dicey area.”

Apr 2010 - Room was very nice, bed extremely comfortable. Clean room, fresh. However, the locale is sketchy. A couple of "boom-boom" cars paraded through the parking lot. Didn't appreciate a Car alarm EARLY one morning. Finally, one evening I went out to my car, and a hooker (that's the way I figured it) was standing in the parking lot talking on her cell phone. Good or bad thing? That's up to you. Oh... and maybe avoid their on-site restaurant. A few points off for those seedy factors.

“A Good Deal for the Price”

This isn't the Ritz Carlton, but then the price isn't either. The room was clean, several people were using the pool, the grounds were well kept when I checked in on Fri. night, had gotten a lot dirtier by check out on Sunday, the tenant upstairs was noisy in the mornings, but that is his fault not the motel's. The continental bkfst was sweet rolls and cold cereal with waffles - nothing to write home about, but then this isn't the Marriot and I knew that going in. All in all, a satisfactory stay. Location is excellent, right off the fwy, not far from eateries, next to a grocery store. I would stay there again for sure. Some folks have criticized the hot water being up and down - that's true but only an inconvenience - not a big deal.

“Was ok”

Had some things that came up short in the room preparation: couldn't get a/c to work, bulb out in lamp, not enough linens, and no kleenex in bin. We had to go to office for these items. They did graciously provide when asked. However, it was a fun place for our families to get together. We very much appreciated the shuttle to Marine World, although the times weren't quite convenient. There should be a shuttle a few minutes after closing, not one hour beforehand.
