we were looking for a decent hotel with a little charm ,reasonably priced and close to bologna for one night. this hotel fit all of those things. eventhough it is on a very busy road they have managed to create a barrier with vegetation. the reception area, restuarant and garden are very nice. our room located in a separate building was clean and modern. the buffet breakfast in the morning was presented nicely. we did not however think much of bologna and would not go out of our way in the future to return .
The hotel is modern, clean and stylish with a great restaurant and cocktail bar. We had to wait a little while in the morning as there were not enough breakfast tables for the number of guests but that was a minor irritation. A pleasant roof terrace is available with sun loungers but don't expect much of a view. A few of Bologna's old town's spires in the distance but the hotel is situated right in the heart of an industrial/residential area.
Far from the city, but has a large car park. Best air conditioning and most comfortable bed of all our trip. Only thing missing was a minibar in the room.
There are lots of bussinessmen coming for fair or meetings.
What a find for weary tired-out travellers! We were on the road for hours and just couldn't drive anymore when I looked it up on our phone and booked it while driving. This modern hotel is right off the highway outside Bologne and has easy access back onto Autostrada on way to Venice. The room was clean, modern, spacious for all three of us with new bedding and bathroom fixtures.
Bologna's sprawling exhibition center, one of Europe's largest, is set 3 km northeast of the downtown area. Here, 18 pavilions house expos for the food, fashion, and auto industries, among others. Aerobus shuttles link from the airport for most events; this trade fair district is also served by a dedicated toll road--and for the biggest events, a dedicated rail station, BolognaFiere.
