Best part was the location, hotel photos very deceiveing, small and cramped,lucky luggage fit in the room. No coffee or tea until the restaurant opens up at 07:30 so if you are an early riser and like a coffee don't stay here, the night desk man very rude, the one day female front desk was exceptional.

Unassuming from the exterior a very well appointed hotel with small but clean rooms and comfortable bedding. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to attractions and restaurants. There is limited self parking. We were there during the off season and were very grateful for tue hotel bar/restaurant because a lot of places weren’t open or had very limited hours. The food was delicious and there were many options for wine or other cocktails. Was able to book the sauna for one evening which was a fantastic relaxer. The breakfast with the room was also delicious and got us fueled up for the day to explore.

This hotel is just outside of old city and you can walk . Breakfast was amazing. Rooms small but clean and comfortable. Would recommend it to anyone.

The staff here were very friendly and helpful. It was easy walking distance to inside the walls, and if you wished there were lots of good eating options withing a few hundred meters. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely hotel in walking distance to the walled historical center. We had dinner at the bar which was exceptional! Also had the buffet breakfast in the morning which was very good. We had booked a suite which was large with a nice balcony and a very comfortable window seat. The bed was not very comfortable, and the pillows were very large and hard to sleep on. But there is a kettle in the room with coffees and teas, and a pay as you go mini bar. With a few waters, and juice. It was too cold to swim, but the rooftop pool area is very nice. We will stay here again when visiting the area.

Hotel with off-beat style
A hotel with unusual design which is only moderately successful. The worst aspect was the lighting in the bedroom which was far too dark, lacked real flexibility and, in particular, made reading in bed very difficult. Sound proofing was poor. However, breakfast was truly excellent.

Professional friendly staff. Bath robes were provided. Nice breakfast. Just outside the wall of the old city. The hotel was a little dated and needs a refresh. Rooms lack any bright light.

I asked for my room to be cleaned up when I went out in the morning, but when I came back at 4pm, it was not cleaned up. And at night, the smell came from the sewer, making it difficult to stay.

The hotel was very clean and the rooms were great - particularly that they were air conditioned and the showers were a great size for Europe. We liked that it was walkable. The staff was nice, but we had asked (by email) for a dinner reservation to be made and the staff would not. For a hotel of this level, we would expect such a request to be fulfilled.

Great hotel just outside the old town walls. In good condition, clean and with helpful staff. We got in late and chose to have dinner in the bar, really quite good. Breakfast was typical European, didn’t stand out but was certainly good. Overall I would give this hotel a great mark, wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

A jewel in Evora
We loved this hotel. It may not be a looker from outside but inside it is modern and luxurious. Luxury touches include high quality bed linen and thick fluffy dressing gowns, some eco friendly touches (though surprised that they provide travel size shampoo /body wash). Breakfast was excellent and the cocktails and bar food was delicious.

The Stone Hotel was our favorite hotel in our Portugal tour! We were very disappointed to find out Almendres Cromlech site was closed for maintenance, but were so happy to feel the " Stone vibe" and natural feeling all around the premises. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal. The horizon pool offered relaxing feel and pretty views. Evora was delightful. Highly recommend this hotel

This hotel is beautiful and feels modern and well maintained. The service from the front desk was very good, they recommended a restaurant next door and made reservations for us. This restaurant was also delicious and incredible. The location of the hotel is also perfect to walk throughout town. We had a wonderful stay, the beds are comfortable, the junior suite is spacious and very clean. Their breakfast buffet is also incredible with options for any dietary restriction (gluten-free, vegan...). Thank you for the nice stay.

This is a very nice small hotel. Staff was friendly, professional and accommodating. They had a very nice breakfast. Rooms were clean. The only thing I would recommend would be to invest in new towels. They felt like they needed to be replaced. Other than that, it was very nice and I would stay there again.

Boutique Hotel is walking distance to the main Evora area. Lobby and restaurant area was nicely decorated. Parking was limited. Check in was good. Room was small but clean. The shower drainage was not good and should be checked as part of housekeeping.

Very cool and unique boutique hotel. Was just passing through on our way up north of Portugal. There were a couple of touristy places to see and with the hotel being as nice as it was we wished we had another night there. Would definately recommend this hotel to others! Maybe we'll be back again one day!

Nice and unique interior design. The hallways are nicely decorated with cork bark and the mirrors on the ceiling makes them look very high. Very pleasant and attentive staff. Good food, with a very special mention of the breakfast - excellent selection for a continental breakfast. This is a place I recommend for sure.

The Vitoria Stone Hotel is a lovely property. The room with a balcony was comfortable and clean. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel is in a good location and very walkable to the old town. Parking was good. Excellent breakfast that included anything you could possibly want. Rooftop pool was beautiful. We would recommend and stay here again.

The location and parking--available in a public parking lot directly beside this hotel--were the selling features of this hotel. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, and the food at the bar restaurant on the 4th floor was terrible (it took 45 minutes for the restaurant to prepare a vegetable soup, toast, salad, and French fries--and they were all served cold).
