Sherwood court was a winner
Bohemian cottage was designed well and had everything we needed. Comfortable sheets and nice towels. Great coffee! We travel with our dog and was provided bowls and treats. Staff was very friendly. I would recommend

Cute little cottages close to everything. The hosts were super nice and very accomodating! Our little Pappion enjoyed the peace and quiet as well with some space in the rear for him to walk around. The cottage was cute and had everything possible. Not the typical cottage! Filled with plenty of nice things. The bed was perfect and plenty of blankets and pillows. One perk we were unaware of is the hosts cook breakfast items for you and you have a chance to sit and chat along with other guests! Very impressive! We wish them many many years of continued success

Rooms were clean but a bit small. Not a lot of room to move around. The water in the shower fluctuated a bit. It was a comfortable place to stay and close to the main area of interest, just far enough to be very quiet at night. Wish we could have had time to use the Outdoor seating area with fire pit.

The hosts are friendly, the place is cozy and artsy. The property is just outside a decent traffic road, so if there are bikers or trucks you will definitely will hear in your sleep. Not so sure about free breakfast.

Thank you for booking your stay in Eureka Springs with us at Sherwood Court! We hope, regardless of your few complaints, that you had a good, overall, stay here with us. We are a 50's style "motor court", which will always imply being near the road. Scenic Hwy 62 is a busy road but it is also one of the reasons Sherwood Court is so convenient to many of our guests. Also, we only serve breakfasts on Saturdays and Sundays. We charge more for weekend stays than weekday stays for this very reason. Please come back and stay on the weekend some time and I think you will truly enjoy our breakfast offerings!

Adorable vintage motor court in a vintage town!
Absolutely amazing vintage place to stay in Eureka Springs. A renovated 60's motor court with several cottage and rooms. The new owners are attentive and thoughtful. If you want the full experience of this old timey resort town, stay here! Reasonable prices, immaculate room. The rooms are small, but well appointed with everything you need. There are a couple of picnic areas. No free breakfast or pool, but adorable and affordable.

The property is breathtaking. The picture on expedia does not represent the exterior updates. We stayed in one of the single one unit rooms. It's small but fit our needs perfectly. We can not wait to return and stay in one of the cottages.

Great value. If you know Eureka Springs then you know that 1950's style motels dominate the area (outside of the Basin). But this place has been updated, is quaint and the owners are very personable and friendly. The best customer service. Some very minor stuff, mattresses a little hard but never really found a hotel mattress I like. Will definitely stay there again given the value and customer service.

This is a locally owned place the owners are super nice and have set up this motel to feel homey and inviting. We stayed in the motel area with attached rooms they were very clean. The rooms were small but held a bed, bureau, bathroom sink, microwave and small refrigerator. There are fire pits nearby that they have set up so we could enjoy a nice fire at the end of the day.

Charming piece of history
This is a really quaint little 50's motel, far from your standard hotel room. The sign read clean and serene and that was true. I really enjoyed having our own little cottage, with personal parking spot, jetted tub and so much charm.

Absolutely DISGUSTING! Please DO NOT stay at here!
Dirtiest place we've ever seen. Owner called at 7 p.m. to see where we were because he wanted to leave and couldn't wait 15 more minutes for our arrival. He left our room unlocked with the key on the table. Very unsafe! We knew right away we wouldn't stay. Tiny room with awful decor. Bed felt like a rock. Very small and old tube tv which you couldn't hear over the extremely loud and rattling window air conditioner. Bathroom was so small that you had to squeeze around the toilet to get to the sink. There was even a notice on the tiny table of instructions on how to use the toilet because their plumbing is so old. Cobwebs in all corners. Carpet gross. A fake wall in the closet (build to hide some pipes) fell when I touched it. We did not stay the night even though we knew we would be charged. Supposed to stay two nights. Returned the key the next day. Told the "desk clerk" that we didn't stay and wouldn't be staying. He said okay, he would only charge us for the one night. We left. He then called us later to say the "owner" said he "let us off too easy and had to charge us the 2nd night - even though we were not staying". I went back for the key (If I was paying I had the right) and found out the "desk clerk" is the owner and was using his wife (the other owner) as the excuse to charge us. Only admitted he was the owner when I requested to speak to "the owner". Bad customer service. Bad business "desk clerk" owner. He finally agreed not to charge the 2nd night. We'll see.

Pre-honeymoon retreat.

I was surprised to find last-minute availability when I reserved two rooms at Sherwood Court because of a blues festival in town that weekend. The pictures made this motel look outdated, but I needed the rooms. When I arrived, I was immediately impressed with how cute this little place is. I was greeted by the inn keeper and she was very friendly and explained where I could find the room key and wifi password. She even let me check in a few hours before check in time. The rooms were larger than I expected and very clean. There is a little sitting area outside the office with several chairs and a swing so you can sit and visit. I was a little disappointed by the "continental breakfast" that was practically nonexistent and the rock solid bed, but overall I enjoyed my stay here. I definitely recommend this cute little inn!

Thanks for your stay and comments! While we occasionally consider replacing mattresses, the number of compliments on our beds far outnumbers complaints, which is about the best we can hope for. Also, as one of our long-time guest reminds us, he "does not come here for the breakfast". We do put out a few items (and coffee!) on the weekends, for which most folks seem appreciative, but readily steer people to great breakfasts (and other meals) in town. Hurry back when you get a chance.

Great Price & a Good Location!
We came to town for a wedding. Most people stayed at Basin Park or Grand Central - very expensive options. We opted for Sherwood Court based on price and location. We couldn't have been happier! The price was right. The location was great - a quick drive to downtown or a long walk. We stayed in room 10 (not a cabin) and it was great. It had been renovated and was very clean. We saw the rooms our friends stayed at & our was better! Plus we saved hundreds of dollars - literally! Highly recommend!!

Quaint and cozy
Bryan and Lil were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our short but romantic weekend. The unique amenities were awesome. We stayed in the log cabin with the heart shaped jacuzzi for our anniversary get away. Bryan & Lil made sure we had everything we could possibly need including candles all around the jacuzzi, wine opener as well as wine glasses, extra towels and beautful scenery. We were able to peek at each of the cottages before leaving and now we are looking forward to coming back because any one them would make a perfect home away from home.

Lovely Cottage in the Mountains
It is a very cozy, clean and sweet establishment. It is convenient to get to the downtown area and is quiet at night. The owner is very friendly. The check in was fast. The air-conditioning/heating unit was a little loud for me.

Delightful motor hotel...
Great owner operator and quaint settings, very 50s road trip motel. We had the cabin and enjoyed it but realized its probably best for a younger couple lol! After all the years, floor slopes and some controls are low. We’re in our 70s so some of that was problematic. However, the front room was so cute and the fireplace so delightful we certainly enjoyed it! Has all the amenities - mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, fully updated bathroom and parking right by the door. The cabin is close to the main road and I worried about road noise but it really wasn’t an issue.

Total misrepresented!
It was beyond disappointing, ruin 6 year anniversary trip. The room was terrible nothing like pictures! Bed was hard as a rock, 1 sheet 1 quilt and 4 flat pillows. Even had instructions for flushng toilet! Made us pay 2 nights for 1 even though they had rooms available second night. Room was so bright from outside lights it was like sleeping with lights on.

Sure sorry to hear about your disappointing stay. We wondered what happened to you. Only when we went in to freshen your room did we discover you had left. You paid for two nights because you booked two nights, and had we the opportunity, we could have most certainly addressed your discomforts. We have extra blankets, an array of fat and flat pillows, and we can unscrew porch light-bulbs for those sensitive to light. We would encourage any potential guests to not hide their light under a bushel basket, and let us know if there is something we can do to make their stay more enjoyable. Real-time feedback from guests is what makes that happen.

Cozy cabin feel
I loved the 1930's original cabin. Very unique and comfortable. The owners are friendly and the room was very clean. There is even a gas fireplace for those cool fall evenings. We will definitely be back.

we had a 1 night stop over and found the accommodation suited our needs in all aspects although it is close to the highway so expect noise from passing traffic at most times

Pleasantly Surprised
The Courts were a pleasant surprise as reservations were made via cell phone the day before with no prior knowledge.. The quality of service, cleanliness and all over amenities left little to be desired...the location is excellent.. I have no desire to stay any place else on my return..hopefully I can get reservations there again on my next visit...

A lil slice of heaven!
Best place to stay! Quiet and so cozy, very quaint cottages! The owners were awesome! We had our own private patios surrounded by trees and flowers and wild life! Short distance from Eureka Springs!

Loved it and it is Close to Downtown
This was a great little cottage and the staff was amazing, it is close to down town, we will for sure stay here again on our next trip to Eureka Springs :)

Sharewood court is a very clean, cozy, family owned business. Very comfortable beds and elders are very nice and personable.
