“Great place to stay”

This hotel is only three years old. the service was great. The room was very large. Everthing was clean. There surounding area has a lot of stores, gas stations, and places to eat. A great area to stop on RT 95. You will not go wrong with this hotel.

“Highly Recommeded, Emporia's Best Hotel, Great Service/Rooms”

This is by far Emporia's best hotel, I have stayed at many of the other hotels in the area and this blows them all away. This is a brand new hotel, opened just a few months ago. The staff is courteous and helpful, the hotel rooms and public spaces are immaculate and excellently designed. Rooms are very comfy, with almost every amenity you need. They also have a onsite fitness center and laundry facility which is great. Their free breakfast is also very good. I would highly recommend this hotel, will be making it my first choice in Emporia, VA.

“Good results at Emporia”

very satisfied with this motel. Very clean and extreemly quiet. Impressed when the front desk called to check to see if everything was okay. Breakfast looked good but we chose Shoneys since we had a long trip ahead and did not want to stop for lunch. Wish i would have checked to see if there were any senior citizen discounts. Overall, a plesant experience.

“A very nice Hotel”

I prepaid thru Expedia. A few days later after I left the Hotel charged me again. I called them and the Manager immediately reimbirsed me. He handled the issue professionally and I commend him for this.

“stop over for charlotte trip”

“Inexpensive - comfortable hotel.”

The staff, room, and location of the hotel were great!!! The hotel is seconds off of the 95 interstate. Surrounded by gas stations, and restaurants. I left my cell phone at the hotel at time of check out and the hotel shipped it to my house. The free breakfast (starts at 6:30am) , which, includes: waffels, bagels, muffins, donuts, toast, coffee, and juice, were great. I traveled with my dog and the room I had did not smell nor did the floor I was on. It was a great experience and I would definitley use this hotel again. Dont eat across the street at Shoneys... The food which was a buffet was ok. It cost us $49 for 3 buffets, 1 soda, and 2 waters. Not worth the price. Also, there were little black ants that were crawling all over my table. Could not finish my meal.

“when booking through expedia..”

Make sure you tell the front desk when you are checking in that you have already paid. They asked to see my credit card and then told me it didn't go through so swiped a second card which I was told also didn't go through. In the morning a different woman showed the first last what she had done wrong and they cancelled one of the charges. Turns out in addition to being charged by expedia both card swipes had gone through so I had to call back the next day to get them to cancel the second. It was a hassel to say the least.
