This hotel is great. If you stay here be sure to eat at the Aspen Restaurant in the hotel. It is wonderful!!!

Very nice place to stay. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful.
“Elko Nevada has it going on with the Red Lion”
The hotel was well maintained, very clean and the beds were wonderful. The buffet (mexican food) was at best tolerable, but lot's of it. We only had the one meal, so really can't judge the rest of the meals. But, would highly recommend the rooms and plenty of parking for larger rigs.
“QUALITY AT A BUDGET PRICE”
We spent three enjoyable days at this Hotel?Casino. We arrived by train and their Hotel Van was waiting. Our check in was courteous and prompt, same with check out.Our room was large and very clean. We ate some meals in the hotel and the food was good,typical casino fare. This property is certainly a bargain for the price.
“Elko's best for the money”
Have stayed in Elko many times, for several years, and would not stay in the ones that bused to be nice in the past. The Red Lion has recently remodeled the rooms, and they smell and look like brand new, including the furnishings. I used to stay mostly at the Gold country, Ameritel (now the Gold Mine). but they have really gone downhill, especially the Gold Mine. There may be nicer places, but not for the price. I was fortunate to get about a 25% discount because I booked within 24 hours.
“very good experiance”
This was my best hotel experiance in the last 20 years bar none. I have stayed at better facilities but I have not had a better over all stay anywhere. They upgraded my room answered all my questions catered to all my requests and did it all in a vrry friendly and courteous manner. I forgot the best part when I was not asking for anything they left me totally alone. It was great.Totally relaxing 100% satisfying.

Great room, with lots of space, and the amenities. Easy to get to, and parking was ot a problem. Review would be 9 out of 10.
“Great little hotel/casino”
I enjoyed my stay at the Red Lion. The room (standard two queen beds) was large and really nice, including a porch and a nice large desk. The casino was fairly small and quiet, but they had a live band that night so it was fun to hang out for a few hours. Overall a good place to stay if you're travelling through Elko like I was.
