"We stayed multiple places in Costa Rica and this was by far the best value. The pricing was great and amenities met / exceeded expectations. There are a few maintenance items that could be taken care of around the resort, but none that negatively impacted our stay, and again for the price, were completely acceptable. Overall the resort had a great feeling, and our room was nicely renovated. The views are amazing, to get these views you're a bit up out of 'town' but not a far walk (if you're ok with large hills), or they offer an hourly shuttle to the town center and also the Beach Club.. which was another amazing value add, access to a Beach Club right on Tamarindo beach with another pool and full food / bar service and loungers in the sand. We definitely recommend this as a great spot in Tamarindo!"

"This was our first time in Costa Rica and this resort was a great place to stay. The views are breathtaking and the resort was very well kept. Staff were friendly and helpful and the resort is less than a half hour from Liberia airport. The only thing I will say is that there wasn’t much entertainment at the resort like I’ve experienced in other all inclusive a such as activities, shows, etc. however if you are looking for a relaxing, beautiful, and clean place to stay for a reasonable price this is it! "

"Costa Rica as a WHOLE is very plush and everywhere on the RIU property vs. outside heading toward excursions/airport is photo worthy.Things to be aware-There's only 1 bathroom area outside of the lobby and 1 swim up bar area. They have 3 bars & 2 bathroom on areas inside the main lobby area. Which drinks are now served until 10:00am so if you are at the pool earlier( I'm there by 6:00am lol) than you'll have to grab any type of beverage wether alcoholic or not at the 24hr sports bar before heading to the pool area. Definitely feel like they should serve breakfast in the Ocala restaurant besides the pool area with views of the beach or at least have a drink fountain machine available since there are no servers until 10:00/10:30. Also there were only 2-3 servers waiting poolside for the entire outside lounge areas which made the wait even longer.Besides those small things the servers/cleaners were AMAZING & nice and the property area was clean. Even the local sellers on the beach we're extremely nice "

"Awesome resort !! Great food choices , not too crowded , family friendly .. only suggestion is to bring water shoes or more flip flops .. the cobble stones were very hot when walking around pool areas barefoot…I Burnt my feet walking on them especially at the water park ( got a few blisters) "

"We came from another resort about 2 hours south and the first thing we noticed the place was alive. You heard people laughing and having fun. Flamingo beach is great, swimming and taking sunset walks. The staff tried the quests like long time friends. Overall we would rate it 5 stars. "
