It was a concise facility. Pool,hot tub,sauna. The room was like a mini suite. Comfy bed. It does need upgrades. Restaurant was not available due to Lobby construction. Lift driver could not find the side entrance. Signage needed because food delivery came late.

The overall stay was decent. The rooms were nice. The only real problem was the renovation taking place. The entrance was not usable. The lobby was in a weird place. Parking was difficult. The kicker was the fact the building was without power from 5 am to 6:15 am. We found out later it was the power company working on something outside the control of the hotel. Would have been nice to be told that during the check-in process. The staff was nice. The room more than served it's purpose. The bed was extremely comfortable. Would have liked a few more channel choices on the TV. In Edmonton and couldn't even find the Edmonton Oilers playoff game on TV.

Starting at the front desk, the ladies were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Get into room, one leg on bed is broken, parts sitting there. To keep tv on, have to have lights on. No relax in bed then turn off tv to fall asleep. Towel rack almost falling off wall. Outlets for charging phone in lamps worn out, has to pull out couch to plug into wall. Hot tub not hot, jets were non functional. Walking from change room to pool area extremely slippery.

I didn't like that I booked a room, then found they were renovating afterwards. In addition the pool had dirty tiling at the bottom. It was weird because the water appeared clean. But then there was a tiny sign at the far end of the pool room warning that pool was not fit to be in and staff did not notify us. I also didn't like they charged a $250 refundable deposit right away instead of just holding the credit card number.

Dear Katie, I'm sorry to see that your experience did not meet your expectations from booking your room that our Fine prints regarding our renovation is on the bottom of the reservation page prior to booking your room. I also agree with you and guarantee you that pool is clean as our maintenance team regularly check it, otherwise if it's dirty we cannot open it for public and it's against AHS rules and regulations. Lastly, the amount is not an actual charge, we only pre-authorized your card at check in. Once again, thank you for staying with us.

I'm sorry to see that we did not meet all your expectations and how you felt about the service you received from our team. Your feedback brings to my attention, and it was reported to me that you decided to check out and asked one of our team to find you a hotel room and that's what she did. Apparently, the other hotel next to us do not have an early check in available at that time. And as we investigated further, the time your reservation was created, the site already has the renovation notice under the fine prints and you will see that during the time of making a reservation and there's another notice of the renovation on guest confirmation emails. Once again, thank you for staying with us.

There was a note when we reserved that there are renovations. So the 9am drilling was a little disconcerting but not a surprise and we just wanted to get out of there. We did not think the property would allow it to be insafe but you could taste the silica in the air and in the room. There was no plastic preventing the construction dust from getting into the guest room area by the elevatirs and diors to the hallway wre left open. We did not stay for the free breakfast just eanted to get out of there. Vedy disappointing that they would still charge a full rate and have food out. The stafg are being out at risk as well. We have a booking at another Wydham i am worrried abour now if guest safety is not a priority..

This hotel is currently u der renovation so it's very inconvenient to function here. Elevators aren't functioning properly, the front desk is difficult to find for check in. I'd recommend to wait a few months before planning a stay here.

Hotel is under construction, not a big deal except nothing written about it on Expedia and we had to park far from an entrance at night with poor lighting. Also the room air vent blew in horrible paint fumes that made my eyes water. Room was clean and front desk staff kind.

If you want to stay in a hotel complete with the most stacked gym you could, this is the place for you. Convenient location for going to concert at the midway. It’s a little odd because it’s hard to look the address up to uber there and also unfortunately when we were there the place was under construction and that was not indicated when the booking was made. It wasn’t a huge inconvenience but the pool was unfortunately not open the night we were there. I’m just saying it would have been good to know.

The property info did not state it was under construction so the first impression was not good. The toilet broke in the middle if the night and was leaking. The room however was very spacious and nice. It was a big surprise, we got the jacuzzi suite and the tub was amazing. Ended up being a good stay, would have been 5 star if i had known about the construction when i booked it.

It is under construction. No signs outside saying construction or directions where to go. Desk told us the only way in with my handicapped mom. Board and crap all over entrance. Then took 30 min to find our room because of the construction. The pub is under construction and closed. The restaurant only had four items on the menu. THE BURGER WAS THE BEST ONE I EVER ARE THOUGH. THE STAFF IN THERE WAS EXCELLENT

The updates will be nice when completed. But for now it is difficult to navigate and large portions of the hotel are not completed. Location is good but the parking is rough with a difficult to access side main entry door. Once it is done I would stay there again but not while under construction.

Construction in the lobby, so it took a while to even find the front desk. Elevators didn’t go to every floor due to construction, so you had to take the service elevator to the pool/gym. The service elevator was being used by guests and housekeeping, so it took a while. Rooms were dated. Pictures made them look a little nicer than reality. The bathroom was kind of gross. The jacuzzi tub looked old and dirty. The tile in the shower had a lot of soapscum. The wallpaper was peeling. There was mould around the top of the shower. The tub faucet leaked. The gym was expansive, but dingy and dirty. Equipment wasn’t organized/strewn about, and most of it is 20 years old. There were limited cleaning wipes, soda cans laying around, and more than half the lights were burnt out. The pool looked okay; I think the sauna was closed, and the hot tub was out of service. The squash courts looked dirty and closed. The breakfast was free… I think. It was pretty good. The bed was comfortable. The water pressure was decent. The free underground parking was nice. Maybe it’ll improve a lot once the renos are done… In its current state, it’s not competitive for the area.

This property is under construction so maybe once it’s done, everything will be better but we apparently were given a newly renovated room but it still felt dirty. There were stains on the bathroom wall, the drain in the shower didn’t work, one bed had a bed skirt and the other didn’t… etc. The staff were amazing!! So friendly and accommodating so that made up for the uncertainty of the room.
