“Nice, contemporary style hotel”

We stayed at the Matrix for 2 nights and were very pleased with the cleanliness, size, and comfort of the room. We had a little glitch with the satellite reception but were promptly moved to a new room. We had a lovely king-sized bed with tons of pillows. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked with nice hair products, soaps and bath items. Water pressure was excellent and quick to produce hot water. Nice desk area, well-stocked fridge & treats for purchase, and big window view of the city. We found it conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants, theatres, etc. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, staff very pleasant & helpful, and the free parking was much appreciated. Definitely would stay here again.

“Big KING Bed”

Ive stayed at this hotel before and will stay again. I like the location in the city and the continental breakfast is great. King size bed is great and clean. The one drawback to this hotel is the parking. Other than that I like this hotel.

“Fabulous!”

Great little hotel. A bit hard to find but once you do it's easy access to anywhere in the city. Very friendly staff. Free parking was nice and the free breakfast was better than most hotels. The rooms were very modern. Comfortable beds. I'd deffinately stay again!

“Great Hotel in Downtown Edmonton”

I was extremely impressed with this hotel. From the free parking to the free internet - things you don't usually find in a downtown hotel. Also the complimentary breakfast had a nice selection which included some hot items. Overall I would definitely return to this hotel for business or leisure.

“Great Hotel in Edmonton”

I just can't say enough about what a great hotel this was to stay in. The bed was super comfortable I usually don't get a good night's sleep the first night but not a problem here. Had a scrumptious dinner in the Wild Fire Grill, wonderful service and awesome food. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. This location is great if you are planning to see the Oilers or the Eskimos right down the street from the LRT. The food for the continental breakfast was hearty and very tasty (they even have a machine that dispenses lattes, flavoured coffees, etc). Don't know if I would have stayed there if it wasn't recommended as an Insider's Select on Expedia, thanks.

“Good location”

Rooms were very small but clean. Location is good with lots of restaurants around. A little pricey for what you get.

“Great hotel!”

This hotel is very tastefully decorated and stylish. The complimentary breakfast (complete with an espresso machine that is free and available all day!) was surprisingly good and filling. The wine and cheese in the evening is also nice and appreciated. We used to fitness room and although it was small it was decently equipped with stuff. My only pet peeve of our stay (3 nights) was that there is only 1 section of elevator...we were there on a holiday long weekend and it was busy and it took forever for the elevator to come...but that is so minor in the grand scheme of things. Everythign else about our stay was fanstastic and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

“Edmontons Best”

Great Hotel - great location, wouldnt stay anywhere else. Hot breakfasts were superb and the wine and cheese tasting nightly was a great treat.

“Very good hotel in price and services”

The hotel is decent at the price I've booked with Expedia and the wine/cheese tasting in the afternoon is a nice touch. Free parking, wireless and the nice complementary breakfast with real plate & untensils round out the very good feeling about this hotel.
