“Very satisfied”

I was very happy with this hotel. My only problem was that there wasn't a fridge or microwave in the room, which would have been nice. Also when I booked it online, it said that there would be a pull out couch as well as the 2 beds, but there wasn't a pull out couch. But I didn't go to the front desk, so I can't even really complain about it, they probably would have done something about it for me if I had. So all in all I was happy with this hotel.

“Quiet and Convenient”

As a first time experience driving in Edmonton, I was very nervous as to how I would make out getting to the hotel. It was very easy to find and very easy to get to West Edmonton Mall from there. The beds were very comfortable and the room was nice and cool. Everything worked as it should in the room. The only minor complaint would be that our room was beside the ice machine and we could hear people getting ice. We did not find the pool cold at all and there was a good supply of swim towels. The breakfast, although not amazing, was fairly good and nothing to complain about. The elevator was a bit slow, but my kids and I were not in a big hurry so it wasn't a major issue for us. This hotel was close to a lot of restaurants and our room faced the parking lot so we found that we did not hear any traffic at all during the night. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would stay again.

“Great for weekend shopping trip”

Nice simple hotel with a great breakfast. Always lots on hand for breakfast. Pool was clean and well kept. The rooms are in good shape and clean. We have stayed here a few times and each time the experience has been good. Many restaurants close by, and West Edmonton Mall is just around the corner.

We loved staying at the Holiday Inn Express. The breakfast was excellent and convenient. Only negative was that there is only 1 elevator for that size of hotel although the stairwells are very bright and open so a great alternative. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a double queen size room. Very comfortable, extremely clean and well arranged. Shower head and water pressure VG. Beds super comfy with 4 pillows soft and firm on each bed plus 2 extras. Microwave and fridge extremely clean. I left a sticky note on the coffee machine asking for more reg coffee and sugar and it was waiting upon my return. Nice large tv on swivel and the top of the armour was durable as was the top on the desk. The only drawback was the wireless. It was extremely slow from 8 pm to midnight due to all the activity. Pool area was nice and clean. Morning breakfast was very good. LOVED the automated pancake machine! And of course the cinn buns. Very good selection of foods. We stayed for 4 nights and couldn't have been happier. We could walk to lots of places and it was only a short drive to wherever we were going.

“Absolute best family hotel we've ever been!”

We LOVED our hotel. We requested a playpen via expedia and it was waiting in our room with a cozy sheet and Poo Bear blankie ready to roll. Our room was the double bed suite which I HIGHLY recommend - we had two 7 year olds and a 2 year old and it was perfect for us. One bathroom with connecting doors between rooms *yes roomS - the playpen was in the first room with a sofa bed and kitchenette and their own tv and play area - the bedroom held two beds and our own tv and sink area and had a sliding door for privacy. The FREE breakfast is equally awesome - the kids loved making their own pankcakes and we loved it was FREE and FAST as kids dont eat a lot but to pay for breaky out on the town is ridiculously expensive. The pool was a lot of fun as well - heated ( verrrry warm) and the hottub was excellent. Only downfall was that there wasn't a toddler friendly area...water wasn't really that shallow - but I can't complain. Service was AMAZING constantly as well. No complaints. Price was shockingly affordable and we will definately be going back. As my son said "These beds are sooooo comfy mom! Best sleep I ever had!" and he was not joking. Super soft and comfy and tons of pillows. Extra blankets on beds and in closet with extra pillows as well. This hotel cannot be outdone for the price!
