Great location for access to the LRT

Posted 21-Jul-2014
We booked the hotel for its proximity to an LRT station, as we were going to the football game at Commonwealth Stadium. Also, we were looking for a reasonably priced hotel, with basic amenities, as we were leaving early the next morning (i.e., we weren't looking for a pool). It fit the bill on all counts, and was quiet and clean and easy to find.

Free parking. .

Posted 13-Jul-2014
They should say in the wed site that there is a max height for the free parking, my pick up did not fit and the solution they gave me was.." well there is meter parking in the street or paying parking in front"..so had to get up at 6am to go put money .. again to not be towed.. free parking ? The rest was ok, clean, confort...

Easy stay downtown

Posted 8-Jul-2014
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and nice.
Cons: The food quality at Albert's was nice but they can (and should) improve on their food quality.
Location: Near Edmonton Transit routes, few minutes walk away from a Save on Foods, surrounded by many restaurants. Need transportation to get to fun stuff.
My girl-friend and I had a good time staying at this hotel. We were happy to spend time lounging in our rooms. The hotel is nicely placed near many Edmonton Transit routes to get around, a few minutes walk away from a Save on Foods, surrounded by many restaurants, theater and a short bus trip to the downtown City center Mall.

Basic hotel close to the downtown core

Posted 7-Jul-2014
Pros: I liked the hotel location, the queen bed seemed bigger than a usual queen which was comfortable, and the room was decently clean.
Cons: Cleanliness can always be improved, the ironing board was poor quality as were the toiletries, and the noise policy should be better enforced.
Location: The hotel is located on a quiet and somewhat empty street just off Jasper Ave, so it's really close to transit and a lot of restaurants and bars.
The location of the hotel was great, it's on a quiet street within walking distance to a lot of downtown attractions and has easy access to transit. It's a simple and clean place to lay down for the night which is what I needed, just somewhere to sleep during my weekend trip in Edmonton. The only disappointing thing about the hotel was the crowd that it attracts. Rowdy, loud, drunk people that kept me up until 3 o'clock in the morning. These "grown" adults were just constantly opening and closing their doors, knocking on each others' doors, running up and down the entire hall, and meeting out in the hall to have the most pointless, annoying, and loud drivel of conversations. The hotel has a noise policy that you have to sign when you check in and agree to keep it quiet after 11 pm but they certainly have a hard time enforcing that policy.

Nice, comfortable, clean, problem-free.

Posted 2-Jul-2014
Pros: Location, cleanliness, comfort, hassle-free.
Cons: Price :-)
Location: (this was a business trip)
A bit pricey given the age and size of the hotel, but that is not a showstopper, considering the location.

Our third stay this year.

Posted 23-Jun-2014
Pros: Excellent value, clean, quiet and comfortable. Albert's restaurants great breakfast. Free and accessible parking is plus.
Cons: N/A in this price range
Location: Great location for the market, shopping and local attractions.
No issues at all so a great stay! Consistent offering in our last three stays.
