“A very decent budget hotel, convenient to schools and city centre. Cordial and accommodating staff.”
It's not the Ritz, but you are paying 20% of the price. Nice buffet breakfast and lunch. Decent bedding and nice comforter. Good WIFI and large wide screen TV. Nice windows for light. Downtown but not on the busiest street. Very convenient and free indoor parking. I will return.
“Average”
This hotel is conveniently located for business. You can tell this is an older hotel, like downtown Edmonton, and unfortunately, the swimming pool & hot tub were closed for maintenance.
“BRUTAL”
It took me 15 minutes to check in as the front desk as the guy was talking on the phone without acknowledging me. I was the only one in line. They "lost" my room service request for breakfast and to boot sent me a bill for parking without indicating at the time of check in that there was a charge. Rooms are shabby but not horrible. Internet was fine. Decor is dated. Not worth the nightly room rate.
“my no 1 hotel in Edmonton”
I have used this hotel essentially because my Company suggests it. However I stay there when I come to Edmonton for any business. I like the restaurants in the hotel and the lounge has good deals from time to time, the staff is always excellent and fiendly.
“TV was not working properly - blurry.”
Virtually every channel had "ghosts" or was very blurry.
“Parking”
Can't believe I had to pay for parking. Guess that happens when I need to be in the dowtown location.
“Great hotel in Downtown, Edmonton!”
Upon arriving at hotel, front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. It was easy to see that they truly were happy that you had chosen to stay at their hotel. The room was very clean, neat and tidy. Ceiling in room had water stain damange, to which I submitted a report to the front desk upon noticing. The pool and hot tub was a great way to relax and unwind before a drink at their onsite lounge. The only reason I did not score any "5 - Extremely Satisfied" is because for me to score a 5, it has to be perfect, which is near impossible. Great hotel in the heart of Downtown, Edmonton, Alberta!
“Go one, I ll do it again if I would go to edmonton”
God hotel it's not the best but I ll recommend this hotel for any family member or friend
“fulfilled our needs”
The exercise room is with the pool and hot tub areas and therefore, it is hot, humid and smells like chlorine and therefore, I only used it once.
“A little jewel”
This is a nice hotel that I basically stumbled on and was pleased. My room was business comfy and very clean. King Size Bed was heavenly and linens were wonderful. I enjoyed the pool spa exercise area, and I also loved the bar. I did not try the restaurant. The services I used were great and a boon was being two blocks from the Light Rail which took me to the University area quickly and also there was a small little grocery store nearby with hot soup and breakfast items. It was like a Whole Foods only smaller and the prices were reasonable. You can get whatever you need THERE and in the hotel was a fridge and coffee maker. I was set. NO microwave, but I didn't need it.
