“adequately met our needs”

The hotel was adequate in meeting our needs. Beds and bed linens should be upgraded and updated. A larger coffee maker is required in the suite.

“We will be back, since we know what to expect”

The pluses -- reasonable price, parking in the parkade for free, downtown location, spacious room, kitchen in the room, clean, and relatively quiet (if not counting the street noise). The minuses -- the elevator took years to arrive (the other elevator was broken), -- the staff is uninvolved, -- the staff should have explained in the email or over the phone when I called how to find the main entry to the hotel as it is not exactly where one would expect it to be, according to the street address, -- the room was a bit worn down, but for the price it was fine. All the minuses aside, the second visit will be much easier, as we will know how to navigate the situation. If this is your first time, do ask the staff how to find the main entry onto the premises

“Great place to stay short or long term”

Large apartment style rooms with full kitchenettes, plus a indoor pool downstairs, and right in the heart of DT Edmonton made this a great place for my stay. I've stayed here a total of four times now, and will definitively continue to use it as my 'goto' hotel.

“central and good for the price”

indoor pool and outdoor deck can't be matched suites comfortable and well provided for intenet, newspapers and tv all included and no problems lobby needs an upgrade - background music, more cherriness (staff and environment) this type of cont breakfast should be discarded everywhere and replaced with something substantial and less rushed-stand-up counter-like ! didn't use the parking but it can not accomodate a full house

“Downtown Getaway”

Away from the insanity of the West Edmonton Mall, in the heart of downtown (go figure) you'll find this lovely hotel. Indoor parking, breakfast, cute pool and lovely rooms. Only problem was a noisy air conditioning fan!

Area recommendations

All of Edmonton is great. Go to the WEM if you have kids or love to shop.

Getting around

Streets in Edmonton are easy to use, so don't worry about the drive!

“cute little kitchenette/terrible selection on contenental breakfast”

This hotel had a cute little kitchenette in the room, that was a surprise. Very clean room and large enough. The pool wasn't kid friendly, as had no toys or shallow area. The breakfast was dismal. only had toast/eng.muffin/ bagel/ muffin and cereal. NO fruit, yogurt or cereal bars. Beverage selection was ok. The staff member in the breakfast area was great! very friendly and outgoing. Was not impressed when front desk called at 11:00 am on check out day to inquire when we were checking out - was like they were rushing us out the door. Overall a nice hotel, would stay again.

“Do not stay in this hotel”

When I booked hotel it was supposed to be with free parking but the truth is that they do not have enough space to accommodate all hotel guests’ cars. They provide to the limited number of the guest with indoor parking and direct the rest to an unsecured area at guests' risk. Front desk people are not helpful and rude. It took 1.5 hours in 1am until after a long argument they could manage to find a space for my car. I was about calling to police as the front desk guy was just yelling at me. Their breakfast also is almost like a joke. I’ll never go back here again and don’t recommend this place to anybody. With the same rate you can find more comfortable places with better service in the area,
