“Loved this hotel!”
I would absolutely recommend this hotel to fellow travelers. It is within 15 minutes walking distance to the castle and the Royal Mile, as well as Waverly Station and Princes Street. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment and it was separate from the main hotel entrance, which was really nice. Our apartment had a very nice flat screen tv with digital channels. Nice, comfy beds. Hot showers. Although we were given a basket with food items for breakfast for the week, there are also a couple of grocery stores nearby, as well as a Costa and Starbucks. I know others have mentioned the "lap dancing" establishments around the area, but it was really no big deal. The overall area was quite nice and residential and very quiet at night. Next time I'm in Edinburgh, I will definitely stay here!
“Great family accommodation”
We visited Edinburgh for a week with 2 teenage boys. We had a two bedroom apartment, with 2 bathrooms, kitchen and lounge as well as two small bedrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped, including a washer/dryer, and the start-up grocery basket was great. Secure parking was included, which is a big bonus in Edinburgh. The location was very convenient, and we felt the accommodation was great value for money.
“Knight's Residence - Great Place”
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. From the incredibly gracious and helpful staff to the amenities of the room, this is a great place to stay. It is not on the main thoroughfare of the Royal Mile, but is a close walk. Don't miss the bookstore next to the residence. Incredible finds and an engaging shopkeeper.
“Perfect Hotel”
This hotel is essentially a service apartment - better than any of the hotels I have stayed before. Perfect for a family vacation where parents and kids can have seperate spaces. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The free welcome pack (breakfast food) and free VCR movies are certainly pluses. Overall, I feel like finding a home in Edinburgh.
“Would use this accomation again”
Before choosing this accomadation I read other reviews and I found it just as others had commented. Brilliant location staff very helpfull, breakfast bar was more than ample for getting us on our feet, good size and clean every modern pieces of equipment washing machine, dish washer, iron and board hairdryer tv in both living room and kitchen etc. There is some road works but nothing to stop you from booking here infact at the moment there is plenty of road works and diversions through out Edinburgh making improvements to the city. Yes night clubs WHAT NIGHT CLUBS !!!! Don't worry its nothing to be concerned about, would stay here again and tell our friends and family.
“Brilliant aparthotel - very highly recommended!”
This is an excellent aparthotel. Everything about it exceeded our expectations. The location is fantastic. Just a five minute walk from the centre of the city, through the lovely medieval Grassmarket area. There is a Sainsburys local nearby , and it stays open til 11.00. Our apartment was lovely, with a spacious lounge/diner, a well fitted kitchen (complete with dishwasher!), good sized bathroom with bath and shower, and a really nice bedroom with queen sized bed. There was bread, milk, tea, coffee, etc. for us on our arrival, so we didn't have to go shopping before we could make a cuppa! Everything was clean and tidy, and the housekeepers even put on the dishwasher for you while you are out in the day! Overall, this aparthotel is certainly five-star, and well worth a stay if you are visiting Edinburgh. We were greatly impressed!
“Excellent apartment”
Very convenient; Walking distance from all the Edinburgh tourist sights. Excellent apartment, clean, modern, well appointed facility with secure parking. Everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Very helpful & friendly staff. World certainy return.
“Great Apartment”
Friendly staff, clean room, big car park, handy for the city and ideal for those who don't want to get up before 11 am to eat a hotel's breakfast. Would definitely stay there if in edinburgh
“Great for families!”
Excellent service, great location, and a fantastic room--clean, spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.
“Perfect”
Staff are very helpful and accomodating. Breakfast is left in the kitchen including bread, milk, cereals, coffee, tea, juice etc. could not fault this hotel. Its near some strip clubs other wise it would and should be more expensive.
