“Great”
We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and loved it.
“Highly recommended”
We stayed here two nights on our trip to Scotland. The room was great though up two flights of stairs. A bus at the end of the street went to downtown Edinburgh so we did not have to take the car. Breakfast was wonderful both Continental and custom cooked, hot and tasty. Our hostess was full of useful information and very welcoming. Highly recommended.
“Great Hotel”
The hotel was extremely comfortable, and only a step away from murryfield for the rugby that weekend
“Short stay this time, would do it again next time”
I needed a place to stay overnight in Edinburgh as I needed to get to the airport in the morning. I was very pleased to find this guest house, which had glowing reviews, and very pleased that they had a single room for me. I came in late, and my GPS took me to the wrong Murrayfield (Murrayfield Road instead of Murrayfield Avenue), and when I rang up The Beverley, Judy was extremely helpful and patient. The welcome was very warm, the room was small but very clean and elegant, breakfast in the morning was very filling. Wonderful guest house, and I would certainly return again.
“Excellent stay”
This guesthouse was well positioned for the Edinburgh festival as only a short easy bus ride to Princess Street and the Royal Mile. The room was very well appointed, comfortable and clean, better than many hotels than I have stayed in recently. The proprietors Judy and Hutch were, very welcoming, helpful and extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend The Beverley
“Wonderful and Welcoming B&B”
We had a delightful stay at The Beverley and would not only be pleased to stay there again but also most certainly recommend it to others. The B&B is located on a pleasant, quiet street and is just a 2-3 minute walk from a bus stop making it very easy to get there from the city centre as well as for getting around during our stay. The owner was kind enough to also provide us with a wealth of information on our arrival, including a map and a wallet-sized 'cheat sheet' with information about the B&B, all the local buses we could use to get in and out of town and fares, which were very helpful. The room itself was warm, clean and well appointed, and we were pleased to discover a DVD player with the television so that we could watch a film in the evening if we so chose (as well as a selection available to borrow). The breakfast was nicely presented, generous, and tasty. There was a good selection of fruit, cereals, meats and breads in addition to the hot cooked breakfast. We had both the normal and vegetarian versions of the full breakfast and thought highly of both. They had no problem accommodating my milk allergy and very kindly provided me soya milk for my coffee and cereal as well.
“Beverley Guest House”
Great value for money. Friendly, helpfell hostess.
“I'll be bahk.”
A bit more than a family B&B but not lacking in family feeling or service. Very well done and they go the extra yard to make your stay memorable and potentially repetitive. Great price and location is fine for a stroll to town or easy bus hop.
“The Beverley - A Lovely place to stay in Edinburgh”
Upon arrival this B&B impressed. We were greeted by the accomadating hospitality of Judy who let us check in early and answered all our questions and more. The room was clean and tidy, with good linen and even had a view. The hotel is situated in a pretty part of town and conveniently located for both public transport into town and driving tours out of town. I will be referring firends and family to this hotel for a homely and relaxing time in Edinburgh.
