Chambre trop petite !
L’hotel a un style sympathique, le personnel est très gentil. Cependant nous étions dans une des chambres au dernier étages et la chambre est vraiment trop petite pour le tarif payé ! La salle de bain est sympas. Bref un hôtel assez sympathique mais la chambre vraiment pas bonne.

Séjour formidable avec un service irréprochable. La grandeur de la salle de bain très petite, comparable à une salle d'eau, mais je ferais le même choix!

Hôtel sublime, très bien situé, calme et superbe
Dès l'accueil, on se sent bien comme chez soi . Très jolie décoration, meublé avec goût. Confort des chambres, avec musique classique et Nespresso (une réserve pour la single room n°1 exigue), excellent petit déjeuner, personnel aux petits soins. Hôtel bien situé dans un quartier chic, à 2 pas de bons restaurants. Luxe, calme et volupté en somme.

Hôtel de charme très agréable. seulement un douzaine de chambre. personnel très à l'écoute, très serviable. un vrai plaisir. les chambres sont très propres et très confortables, mais pas très grandes. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux (prendre le scottish breakfast). possibilité de diner sur place le soir avec une carte de qualité. Hôtel à 15 minutes à pied du centre ville. je recommande fortement!!!

Hôtel de charme au service impeccable. Chambre un peu petite et il est un peu éloigné des principaux centres d'intérêt de la ville et il faut être en forme pour monter les nombreux escaliers qui mènent aux chambres! Mais c'est ce qui fait son charme...

This is very nice hotel, conveniently located a couple of blocks from George St and the so-called New Town. Rooms are in top condition, clean, my room had a jacuzzi. Very nice taste in decoration. Only two observations: the volume of water in the shower was really low and variable, as well as the temp (in a moment you passed from a trickle of cool water to a normal flow of very hot water. Also, the bed could have been softer.

Was not made aware until I arrived that the hotel did not offer room service or food apart from breakfast, despite being advertised as otherwise. Be aware the property has lots of stairs, no lifts and staff do not offer to help with luggage all in all not very luxurious.

No free parking at the hotel and in the surrounding area, only at weekends. On working days there is a charge of £4.40 per hour from 08.30am to 05.30pm.

Stopped in room 613 for 1 night with my family, the room itself was nice and so was the bathroom. Unfortunately the bed was so hard it was a terrible nights sleep and the pull out sofa bed was so bad that in the end we pulled the mattress off and put it on the floor which was marginally better. I do not believe that this room should be advertised as sleeps 4 due to the poor quality of the pull out bed. I have given the rating as average and not worse due to the helpful staff but unfortunately would not consider going back.

Mycket fint rum, trevlig personal och mycket bra frukost. MEN golvet i badrummet var glashalt, även när det var torrt och fläkten i badrummet fungerade inte. Kylskåpet fungerade men var inte kallt, +22 grader. Städningen var på ytan bra men dammsugningen lämnade mer att önska. Hittade en öronpropp på golvet och då undrar man hur den övriga städningen egentligen var.

Booked a stay for wife and I along with our two kids. They put us in a one room with a pull out sofa beds the kids had to share. Both the bed and sofa bed were extremely uncomfortable. Dust on the shades, water stain in the ceiling and not very helpful in addressing our concerns. I wanted to cancel our second night because it was so bad and they wouldn’t give us a refund. It was only until hotels.com got involved when they canceled it for us.

Staff checked in with us before we arrived and were very friendly and welcoming during our stay. We ordered a room with a bath, however the jacuzzi bath did not work which was disappointing. Overall, lovely cozy room and great for our stay.

Shocking Management
Booked an overnight as a special treat for my husbands 50th birthday following a busy weekend in Paris. Hotel agreed to a 2pm late check out on arrival but reception called at 12 to tell us the late check out could not be honoured as they had guests arriving. As we were relaxing in the jacuzzi we said we would need an hour to get out we were then told a charge of £45 would be payable if we stayed until 2. Totally ruined the relaxing experience of the jacuzzi suite that I had paid so much for.

Lovely Boutique Hotel
Lovely boutique hotel with exceptional staff. Great location to explore Edinburgh within east reach of the best bars and restaurants, however , one downside the mattress was extremely soft and squishy and the middle of the mattress had completely gone bad enough to give a sore back in the morning.

The property is in a convenient, walkable location. The room was clean and the amenities for the bathroom are very nice! We did have an issue with some of the staff that made our experience disappointing. We did not purchase the rate that included free breakfast, which was our intention. However, when we were checking in, we were asked what time we would like to take our breakfast. I responded saying that we did not purchase the rate that included breakfast. They insisted though that breakfast was included. Because we were told it was included, we did eat breakfast at the hotel. Upon check-out, the same person who checked us in and said breakfast was included, let us know we had to pay £24 for breakfast. We reminded him of our conversation but he said we did not purchase the rate with breakfast included and he did not remember checking us in or telling us this information. We were very upset but he insisted we had to pay because it was "in the system". It was too bad since the hotel itself is nice and in a good location, but I would not recommend staying here to friends due to this incident. On the other hand, the woman who served us breakfast was extremely nice and helpful. Again, it was disappointing to have this single incident make it so we wouldn't want to stay here again.

Beautiful hotel, in a very quiet area in walking distance to the shops, restaurants, points of interest etc. Room was well decorated and plenty of space and staff were very welcoming. The only thing I had an issue with was the high temperature of the room. It was unbearably hot! I understand we are in a heatwave at the moment but there was no air con and no fan, and there was only a tiny window which didn’t open very much (due to the height) I woke up early morning to shower myself in cold water and went back to bed. And there was no bottled water in the fridge which I think would have been helpful.
